Comments: David Ling starts things by freight training Tom Poti behind the net. De Vries comes in and gives Ling a hard cross check to the back. Fritsche, who was behind Poti at the time of the initial hit, roughs it up with De Vries and there they go. Since the fight was behind the net and along the boards, it was hard for them to open things up and let it loose. As they dropped the gloves they tied each other up fairly well. De Vries got Fritsche's jersey tied up in his shoulder pads. Other Penalies: David Ling received a roughing; Fritsche a roughing; De Vries a cross checking.
