Kurt Sauer vs Tom Kostopoulos

Believe it or not but Kostopoulos lands the best punch of the fight.

Kostopoulos early, Sauer late. Sauer used his reach to win it.

Looked like Kostopoulos was going to be strong after the early shot.. however he lost it badly once Sauer got going. Tom just hung on for the ride. Win easy for Kurt another strong newcomer.

Firstly you are not obligated to drop the gloves b/c you lay out a big hit, that just shows us how little hitting there is in hockey today.
Secondly, even if the hit was on the edge why should a non-fighter like Sauer (10 career scraps) have to take on a monster like Laraque? Don't blame him for declining and instead goes with someone more his league in TK and does pretty well.

Kosto started well but then does come Sauer, and very well!
Landing few nasty punches and Kosto was in trouble.
So CLEAR WIN to Sauer in short but spirited fight.

I didn't see Sauer land any good shots. They all hit TK in the back. Tk however connected with a good one early and was the only good shot of the bout. I'd give this a draw though since TK dropped before Sauer let him really have it.

Sauer fights? And yet Kosto can't even beat him....that's sad. Win Sauer.

It should have been Sauer and George L. Not really a fight after Sauer got going.

Sauer was the winner no question although he did back away from a fight with G. Laraque a few moments before. That makes him yellow.
