I don't understand why Belak didn't keep on punching Boogaard with his left hand??? Was he tired perhaps??? Or did he not wanted to hurt him??? It is obivious that Boogaard is very weak defending against south paw fighters. Belak won!

no one won this one. Both guys had problems with balance, both seemed tired. Looks it was in the end of the shift and they had no power to throw.

I like Boogs a lot, don't get me wrong, but he clearly got his butt whooped in this one. Belak nearly floored him at the start, then kept on him for the duration while Boogs was just wildly throwing bombs and hoping to land 'em.

Inconcevibly, there are some people here who are trying to claim,
I think, that this fight was a draw, or at best, give the "edge" to Belak.

As the Vast majority of voters have said, this was a clear victory for
Belak. This fight has ripped through the NHL grapevine and as we have
seen, articles have been written about. And to the intellectual heavyweights out there, the article was not written because it was
a "draw".

So to all the people from Minnesota - when the opposing fighter is giving interviews about his amazing performance - chances are it is not because it was a "draw".

About Boogy being tired, he wasn't tired to sucker punch Nick Boynton, was he? No sucker punch. No fight.

I would rather some of the Boogy fans say, " the stock market *edged* down Slightly last week" Than saying Belak "edged" Booger.

For the record, I am an oiler fan. No connection to Belak or the Panthers.
( Who is really? ) Just an awestruck fan of the fight trade.

Boogy couldnt get squared off well from the start so that pretty much doomed him. Belak got some aimed shots at boogards face boogard got a couple in with some kidney shots. Kind of close, belak win though

WOw. Someone who could finally give Boo a fight for more than 8 seconds. Still can't believe Belak was the guy. Must have been an off night for the Boogie man. Props Lakkie.

Draw... sort of a twirly bunch of misses and lack of balance for 2 big men.

I didn't see the game, was Boogey at the end of his shift? Just looking at the beginning of the clip, it looks like Boogey is tired skating out of the offensive zone and heads to the bench were Belak is waiting for him. Not trying to be an apologist, just wondering.
