Great hit to start things off and a gutsy effort by Hale to come straight in his defence. But whatever respect he gained for sticking up for a team mate, he lost by calling for a helmet toss, and then launching into Sutherby before his lid even hit the ice.

Hale swings wild and misses. Sutherby lands the only punch of the fight and gets the knock down. Edge sutherby.

Short, ok fight.
DRAW, Hale did land nice right to the start but Sutherby controls later.

Good move by Hale standing up for his teammate, had he not fallen so quickly it could have been a good fight. In the end it was a DRAW in a weak fight. I like that they ditched the buckets before firing punches.

If your going to signal helmets off - don't punch the other guy while he is taking it off. Win to Sutherby

Sutherby was still taking off his helmet. Hale is just a kid trying to secure a job. I understand, but it doesn't make up for the a-hole move. draw

There may have been an equal amount of hits but Sutherby landed the ones that took Hale to the ice. Win to Sutherby

short but sweet. This fight, IMO, was a 3-hit affair. Sutherby hit Hale twice, Hale hit the ice.

Great move by Hale to stand up for his teammate, but not much of a fight. I say win Sutherby for being able to keep his balance.

Kyle Turris is the Phoenix "franchise" and Hale evidently wants some job security by taking on Sutherby after the hard hit. No damage as I saw it.

The hit was better than the fight.

HALE! Nice 1 2 combo on sutherby's face. If he hadn't lost his balance he clearly was winning.
