What terrible coverage by this network, showing replays while live fights are going on. A draw from what i could see of the Avery/Hamhuis scrap.

Avery picks on a non-fighter and one of the best D on the Predators and gets both of them kicked out for 2nd fight in.

From what I have personally seen, Avery turtles when going against someone who is a fighter.

As for Tootoo the Stars remember what he did to Ribiero last season when Tootoo knocked him out cold which is why two guys went after Tootoo and not just Ott.

Avery does his job and gets Hamhuis off the ice.

i was at the game. hamhuis was just holding Avery back, didn't expect a fight to break out. There were just standing there holding each other by the bench. Then Avery sucker punched Hamhuis. The video doesn't show the beginning or middle of the fight. But Hamhuis through Avery down 2 times and caught him with one blast to the fact that knocked him sensless. Hamhuis isn't a fighter, but I give him full credit for standing up to Avery and in my opinion kicking his A@#.
