Dion Phaneuf vs Steve Bernier

Not much of a fight - great hit by Phaneuf and nice to see Bernier stand up for his teammate, but he wanted nothing to do with actually fighting and held on.

Bernier fights scared, wouldn't open up at all. Next time...

Bernier impresses me by standing up for his teammate, especially since he's not a fighter. However, they both wear visors and there wasn't much going on, so it's hard to call it much of a fight at all.

I agree with Goody2, Phaneuf did got a couple of good uppercuts. Had to give him a win.

Props to Bernier for standing up for Sedin, Celine lands a nice shot in the begining bu thats it........ Bernier sholdnt be the guys having to do this, granted he was on the ice and did the right thing but Hordi was invisible last night

Why does everyone get their panties in a knot whenever a clean open ice hit is delivered? I miss the old NHL sometimes...

Only in vancouver would the "fans" chear your name after an embarrassing show like this. Bernier wanted nothing to do with Phaneuf and held on for dear life. He will fit in nicely with the other pansies on the team (Kesler, Burrows, Mitchell, Ohlund, sisters, etc, etc.)
