McCormick got one shot right at the start, the rest completely missed. McCarty took over with a few punches and then avoided the rest of McCormicks punches. I have to give the nod to McCarty, even though he got off balance and went down on his back at the end.

McCormick needs to take lessons from the vet and this was a good one for him .

McCarty is destroying him at first, but mcCormick gets this fight at the end..very close

Not a bad scrap. Did you see McCarty duck those haymakers? I'm giving McCarty the close win.

Okay playoff scrap between two guys who were careful enough to avoid the extra two - should be rated a draw. But RockHawk is right -need to balance out the Detroit homers (wow, are you all 11-year-olds like the kid screaming derogatory stuff about Colorado?), so win McCormick.

Acceptable but better fights have been had.

Fair dropping of the gloves, always nice to see but I don't know how this gets a 6.1 rating besides of the fact that people need a hockey fight to vote on cause it's dry in the playoffs and people are basically blood thirsty. McCarty may have landed 'A' left at the beginning stages but that's all. McCormick looked to have missed with the rights. The 2nd goal by Frazen was a better highlight. Don't get me wrong I love scraps and I've seen McCarty in better scraps with Colorado like that 1 with Deadmarsh in the game when McCarty came back and scored the OT winner, and he beat down Claude early in that regular season contest. Most of his best were in the 93-94 season though.

OK bout, but considering the crap we've been subjected to watch since the playoffs started, not bad. Edge to McCarty, great to see one of the "old school" boys back on the ice. All we've seen so far in the playoffs is hugging, kissing, and rubbing each others' arses. Thanks for throwin em boys!

After not much but face washing for a while these playoffs it was good to see somebody drop the gloves for once. And more punching then dancing doesnt hurt either.

I think McCormick had the edge. McCarty is getting old, but he can still throw a few. It was close, but I have to give it to McCormick. What a bad game by my team though. Not even this fight could save their crappy performance.

mccarty all the way.

From what I can tell, Cody threw 5...landed 1. DMac threw 9, landing 3. McCarty slips at the end, I dont think McCormick did anything to take him down. Very slight edge to Dmac, regardless of rockhawk's lobbying.

short lil lefts by mccarty don't give him the decision... Least Cody was in there trying to make something happen (landed a clean shot at the start), and not that i give many points for take downs, but that is more codys physical strength and mccarty trying to avoid getting lit up then him tripping and falling accidently
close one but edge to McCormick to even out some of the meatheads voting the other way

McCormick threw plenty of punches, but McCarty slipped all of them. Darren got in a a couple of good straight rights for the decision.

Preety tight fight. mccarty dodged a few and landed more. The only reason why McCormick was on top of him was because Mccarty fell. One solid shot didnt sway the fight for me. McCarty takes this one.
