Enthusiastic draw...a brushing left verses two missed rights...take your pick.
The best part of the fight is Pierre Maguire calling Cody McCormick Gordie MacClelland off the top.

A good fight by both but not a great one.
A draw, but why?
McCarty landed more shots, yes...
but McCormick landed one pretty solid shot to the start of the fight.
McCormick took over in the end getting top of McCarty.

A great to see McCarty fightning.

Fair dropping of the gloves, always nice to see but I don't know how this gets a 6.1 rating besides of the fact that people need a hockey fight to vote on cause it's dry in the playoffs and people are basically blood thirsty. McCarty may have landed 'A' left at the beginning stages but that's all. McCormick looked to have missed with the rights. The 2nd goal by Frazen was a better highlight. Don't get me wrong I love scraps and I've seen McCarty in better scraps with Colorado like that 1 with Deadmarsh in the game when McCarty came back and scored the OT winner, and he beat down Claude early in that regular season contest. Most of his best were in the 93-94 season though.

McCormick landed big with his first swing, but after that he swung haymakers but landed nothing. McCarty landed a couple, and they fell to the ice. Nothing great but considering what has gone on so far throughout the playoffs it's a big deal.

McCarty landed a few more shots, plus they looked harder! He didn't get the takedown but takes the win. Good fight.

flurry by mccarty was the difference, but mccormick got in a few good ones too. bout time, ive been fiending for a playoff tussle
