A good fight by both but not a great one.
A draw, but why?
McCarty landed more shots, yes...
but McCormick landed one pretty solid shot to the start of the fight.
McCormick took over in the end getting top of McCarty.

Good spirited go, lots of wild swings by McCormick, didn't land any, but got the takedown - edge McCarty

McCormick landed big with his first swing, but after that he swung haymakers but landed nothing. McCarty landed a couple, and they fell to the ice. Nothing great but considering what has gone on so far throughout the playoffs it's a big deal.

The best part of the fight is Pierre Maguire calling Cody McCormick Gordie MacClelland off the top.

There are either lots of Detroit homers voting for this, or just people voting based on Darren McCarty's name regonition. He did not win this fight. Both guys "landed" the same amount of punches and McCormick got the better of him at the end. All in all though, draw. At least someone dropped the gloves.

Way to go Mac. You'r perserverence in getting on track has been an inspiration to me. Keep you'r duke's up

McCormick got one shot right at the start, the rest completely missed. McCarty took over with a few punches and then avoided the rest of McCormicks punches. I have to give the nod to McCarty, even though he got off balance and went down on his back at the end.
