Was that the mambo?

Snoozy draw in a non-fight.

And PS, Laperriere - you're a joke.

ian laperriere is a ****in *****, grow some balls and take on boogie, simon, or the fridge. seriously he only wants to fight people that are smaller than him, which goes to show that hes scared. and for all of u ignorant colorado hockey fans who want to talk smack, i say go have sex with a disease infested ******.

COULDNT agree more with KORPI24, in my opinion officiating is why hockey is seen as a fringe sport, cant leave out the heirarchy of the nhl, they suck too.

Amazing how Laperriere's elbow pad flew off so easily....what a chump. Fight someone bigger next time.

giving this fight a 1 out of 10 gives more credit then it deserves

Kudos to Veilleux for giving it a go. Laperriere is still a no class kind of guy- sure he'll take on a smaller guy- sure talks a lot for someone that won't step up for an even match. You don't need to go with Boogaard- try Simon, Fedoruk, or even Burns or Voros. Colorado runs at the mouth an awful lot for a team that won't step up after the words. All in all- sloppy fight and a sloppy game on both sides.

I watched this game and remember why the NHL referees suck. Why in the hell did Boogard get a second 10 minute misconduct when Foote ran Gaborik through the crossbar ? All he did was skate over and confront him, a very slight push to the chest, but did not punch him or even face-wash him. He should have dropped a glove and sucker-punched him for the penalties he was assessed, absolute hogwash. I like Adam Foote, but Boogard should have just dropped the gloves and started swinging.
What a puzzy Lappy is, he's just confirming what I've thought about him for many many years. That boarding Veilleux did to Stastny should have been a 5 minute major and a game, an absolute cheap shot, but if Lappy is going to go after a weak cheap-shot artist like Veilleux, then he has to drop the mitts with the big boys at some point. I'm still disgusted with that second 10 minute misconduct, it totally reminded me of how the refs always took Probie out of the game even when he didn't do a damn thing in a scrum, just because he was on the ice. It's possibly down to just the NFL for my sports watching. Why does the heavyweight on the ice get a FU***NG 10 MINUTE MISCONDUCT WITHOUT DOING A DAMN THING !

The square off was excellent....the fight was piss poor.

Lappy is a punk. He will call out Veilleux, but he himself will not step out and answer for what he did to Gaborik. Can you say...loser!

Why would Lappy fight Simon, Boogaard or Fedoruk? Maybe the Fridge, but you have guys like McLeod and Parker for those guys. Simon and Boogaard are heavyweight, Lappy is a self admited middleweight he has no business fighting them, but if it came down to it I'm sure he wouldn't back down.
Minnesota: you are the reason people don't watch hockey!
GO AV'S!

Amen, "mikeb." I'm not surprised, Wild fans think their guys have won every fight this season. Even the ones where their player didn't even throw punches. U know why they still get the win??? Check out this logic... Because their guy could've really hurt the other guy if he wanted to but didn't. That's pure genius!

In this one, Veilleux gets the win cause he's smaller than Lappy. HAHA, DRAW!

HERE WE GO, WILD FANS & FAGGY COMMENTS. I GUESS U GUYS REALLY DO ONLY THINK ABOUT LICKIN BALLS.
Oh yeah, the 1 Ranger-Wild game... I guess your memory is a lil shot. It was a 6-3 final & Strudwick beat Voros in the only fight. And Oh yeah, Fridge who had been playing every game was a "Mysterious Scratch" that night. Couldn't of had anything to do with Orr being on the ice. NAH! Of course not.

Draw.
10 min. misconducts for the Wild fans that voted for Stephanie.
mncraig...u get a game suspension for stoopidity.
Is anybody else tired of seeing Boogaard's name mentioned in most every Wild fans post ?

Lapperierre doing his job and meanwhile the Wild enforcers, the vaunted tough guys they have are giving Colorado power plays galore, just what Lappy ordered.Lemaire is an idiot, why even dress Boogaard? No one is going to fight him and he takes up a slot that could be filled with an extra dman or scorer, a glaring weakness in Minnesota's lineup.

Thought Lemaire was a good coach but when a team beats the trap, stick a fork in that focker, he's done.

Draw in a crap fight. Thanks alot zebras. No surprise that the Wild player gets win votes from the incredibly immature homer Wild fans on this site. Grow up.

Veilleux should NEVER, EVER DROP THE GLOVES AGAIN. Just because you have no offensive talent doesn't mean you are automatically a tough player. Stick to the perimeter like the rest of your team.

This is the stupidest announcer I have ever heard in my life. Laperriere is almost 10 years older than Veilleux. Why would they know eachother from Quebec? No NHL on Fox or Vs.
