Did any of you douchebags actually see what veilleux tried to do to stastny. guy has no ****ing class at all. Minnesota didn't even belong in the playoffs, thanks for wasting 4 rosters spots on guys with 14 goals and 30 points combined this season. who the **** were they planning to fight?! mcleod...hannan... foote? nice strategy lemaire.

So gay. they skated around way more than they fought and the refs jumped in way to early.

I was glad to see Veilleux step up. The fight sucked, but he showed more class than ANY Av's player on the ice. The calls this game were horrible. Lopsided and pathetic. The officiating this whole series has been pathetic. Man up Av's. Play Hockey. If your retirees can't play without whining, get them off the ice.

Veilleux's had his fair share of scraps, but he's a grinder, not an enforcer. That and isn't Lappy beginning to remind you of another infamous Av who liked to hit and run, but when it was time to step up, he ran like a little girl? He's already said he doesn't want any part of Boogaard, and he's making it obvious that he doesn't want any part of a Wild player that could be a threat to him. Hell, he went after GABORIK for God's sake.

As for the fight, nothing really happened, so we'll call it a draw.

Nothing fight - this scrap resulted from SV's dangerous boarding of Stasny and SV is lucky he's not getting suspended for it. The MN kids on here who rant about Lap and McLeod are really out to lunch. Too bad they apparently don't know how to use their computers or the terrific links this site provides to fight logs - they would see that both Lap and McLeod fought pretty much all comers all year, including heavyweights. McLeod has guts to keep fighting when he loses more than he wins! No reason for either to fight Boogard - he takes himself and his team right out of the game with his bravado - forgets that the point it to win the game, not to win a fight.

If Laperriere was a man he actually fight someone his size. Veilleux showed he will go. Hope Boogaard lays him out soon.
