Give it to Gaborik for standing up for himself. How many skill guys (no matter how stupid) would drop the gloves and not get pushed around. I do believe that next time we see Laperriere it will be with someone a little bigger (Simon, Boogaard, Fedoruk and maybe Burns???) Laperriere showed zero class the whole game by giving Gaborik cheap shots- Good for Gabby here.

Gaborik knocks Ian off balance good enough for the win in my books. When a Light weight can knock a middleweight off stride like that it's a shame.

Laperriere is a little girl for picking on the Wild's star player. He's gonna pay for it later in the playoff series. If he really wanted to fight someone worthy, simon and fedoruk were in the lineup

Ian is going to pay for that !! I cant wait to see him bitch out when boogy or simon comes after him in the playoffs....ooooohhh it will be a great series !! No win for gabby even though he is my favorite player !! Sorry Gabbs...u didnt do anything to win !! As for lapperiere or however you spell it..by going after the all star on the team....u lost all respect....and proved that you are classless. Pretty soon we will see how big of a puszzy you are as well...actually the first game is Wednesday...c u then Ian !!

HEY MIKEBFLORIDA...YOU GOTTA REMEMBER SOMETHING BUD....MINNESOTA HAD HOCKEY BEFORE YOU WERE EVEN SQUIRTING OUT OF YOUR DADDY'S AZZ HOLE...I SUPPOSE I WOULD BE PISSED IF I WERE THE ONLY HOCKEY FAN IN FLORIDA...THAT MUST SUCK...YOU CAN HATE ON MINNY ALL YOU WANT JUST SIMPLY BECAUSE YOUR FROM FLORIDA AND CLAIM THAT PEOPLE FROM THE SUNSHINE STATE KNOW'S SOMETHING ABOUT HOCKEY...WE MINNY'S UNDERSTAND CONSIDERING FLORIDA IS FAR FROM A HOCKEY STATE...MAYBE BASKETBALL IS MORE UP UR ALLY...AND I MEAN THE ONE BETWEEN UR LEGS BRO !!! LATER FRIEND

Gaborik wins his first ever fight, only because he is the only guy who actually dropped the gloves and threw a punch.

Funny enough, the one or two he threw connected.

Lappy threw some gloved punches at a visor, HARMLESS! If the Wild are gonna focus on getting revenge on Lappy this series, they are gonna end up hurting the team by taking penalties. U ever stop to think that this is what Lappy does as an Aggitator (getting the best player off his game before a playoff series.)

If the goons on the Wild are gonna start going after Lappy or decide to play dirty with the Avs' Stars, I can tell u right now the Wild are getting an early playoff exit. BTW-Gaborik doesn't win this fight, it wasn't even a fight.

I knew it would be something like this once I saw Gaborik's name here.

The refs and linesmen race to protect Gaborik just like they would any "star" player which shows an obvious favoritism. Blech.

Anyway, props to Gaborik for tossing some punches and not backing down. I imagine he would have gotten pretty dinged up in a prolonged fight with Lappy.

I'm sure the Wild fans are going apeshyt because of this which I think is great since they are the worst homers ever.

By the way, changed from a draw to a win for Lappy as I said, the homer idiot Wild fans actually vote for Gaborik to win this "fight". What a focking joke you people are. MN Bonecrusher, Wildfan4eva, you're a joke, you're not even real hockey fans, just punks who only see one team or one player and whack it to posters of Boogaard in your mom's basement. Pathetic.

whys every one crying because a guy makeing 7 million a year has to stand up for himself every 10 years, hes bigger then lappy so whats the problem, you people sound like marion has a god given right to have others fight for him,to bad even stars have to take off the dress now and then,or go play rec leauge.im sick of a star able to hit some one from behind or do a face wash and then cry for his backup who's makeing the leauge minninum to fight his battle.Ive seen marion hand out a cheap shot or too hes not an angel.im not a colorado fan,but lappy paid his dues putting his face in front of alot of punches for some wimped out star.

so is it still a fight if one of the fuktards didn't even throw an ungloved punch (there was plenty of opportunity to shed them--christ, the guy who hasn't ever fought got his throwing glove off...). At what point is this even a fight? Laperriere is degenerating into a Burrows. But if we're going to call gloved punches actual fight punches, then Ian gets it. I'm voting Lappy...if only because it makes him look like a huge douche when one goes over his fight card.
