mikebflorida is a punk. Why would Lappy even entertain this match, I'm from Calgary and know better. Gabby wasn't going to get intimitated here. I sense Burns or Voros will kick the crap out of Lappy. Simon, Fridge and Boogie won't even waste their time. Hell, i'd like to see these two go again. I'd put my money on Gabby. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

WOW Gabby! Lappy gets some nice gloved punches in. Gabby with 2-3 bare nucklers. DRAW!

Lappy lost alot of respect from me for this(like he cares!). He could have had Boogaard, Simon or Fedoruk but no, he takes Gaborik. Real weak Ian!

Gabby is severly out sized and out matchedm yet he almost wins this fight. Laperriere is a punk and will pay for it in this series. Gabby impressed me, and it is good to see guys like gabby and bouchard defend themselves..i dont think that colorado is a cheap hockey team but laperriere broke a gentlemens rule, and gabby did a good job to defend himself

All you so called hockey fans in MN don't know **** if you think there is a player in the league who is going to take that from Gaborik. Of course Boogi, Simon or Fedoruk weren't on the ice, it was OT morons. The reason Lappy was giving Gabby a hard time was the hard time you gave Forsberg a few games ago. I can't wait for the playoffs to see you retards thinking Boogie or Simon or Fedoruk are going to waste Lappy. I hope those 'stars' are on the ice a lot. It will be over in four then. Get real, Lappy is not going to take that kind of **** from anyone including anyone of your goons. I hope they get plenty of icetime, we'll see who wins then. I actually like all three of those guys and think they are great guys too have but get serious. Nobody is going to back away from Gaborik when he pulls that ****. We have a few tough guys of our own and you can bet they will hitting Gaborik!

this is great. hopefully it makes the upcoming playoff series a little spicier. i was kind of hoping to see minnesota-calgary because it would be a more intense series, but this little bout makes colorado an interesting matchup. see you on the ice Ian!

HEY SASKY....WHY WOULD YOU EVEN MENTION IF GABORIK WOULD GET BEAT BY SCOTT PARKER...YEAH NO ****T...BUT IF I REMEMBER RIGHT BOOGY AND SIMON HAVE KICKED THE **** OUT OF PARKER....SO EAT THAT CRACKER !!!

Props to Gabby for standing up to Laperriere(should be LaDERRIERE seeing as he's made an ASS of himself), though it wasn't much of a fight. He wanted the captaincy, and now he's earned it. I wouldn't expect the captain of my team to back down from ANYONE...let's see how Laderriere fares when he's got Boogaard, Simon and Fedoruk gunning for him. And being a Wings fan, this doesn't really surprise me one bit...I'm just glad he didn't turtle like another Av-Not of lore. Then again, that could always change...

Good to see Gaborik get feisty, but he would have got bundled if Ian dropped the mitts. Props for not pounding on him.
