Win to Shelley for chasing as opposed to fleeing???

I think Ott had enough beat downs for the day after the Thornton match up.

Ott was wise to hang back and let Shelley get booted, but on the real Shelley would have wasted Ott if they had an actual scrap.

Great fight. I guess the San Jose trainer wasn't available to go, so Ott didn't want to fight.

Where do you even start with this. I haven't read anything on this yet but know what a punk Ott can be and he had basically the whole Sharks team going after him all afternoon.

This was a huge statement game from the Sharks who are letting everyone know they won't be pushed around. Majors for Thornton, Shelley, Michalek, etc and Shelley really did his job today with 41 pims against a pussified Dallas team full of instigators and pests. Outside of Barch and maybe Morrow, Dallas is soft.

I love it when a big enforcer goes after the pests because he is doing his job. ANyone saying otherwise is a two faced idiot. Shelley is no goon, he's an enforcer who backs up his mates at whatever cost to himself and guys like Ott have big mouthes and need to be shut up. Get rid of the instigator rule Buttman and we'll be rid of most of these pests.

huh?? i thought Ott is a fighter... was i wrong?? Ott cowardly turtling and Shelley stupidly throwing to a guy who obviously don't wanna go... terrible

I guess you gotta call Shelley the winner 'cause he's the only one throwing punches. This ain't the first time Shelley jumped someone, but it was only Ott who's a dirtbag.

Big time mismatch. I would have expected Ott to do the Sean Avery and turtle up.

Good job for steve ott to not go with the goon shelley. If he can get players like thorton to go with and get them to waste there time in the penelty box then good job for him cause that is his job. If steve ott went with every player that wanted to go with him, he would never be getting out of the penalty box. And for all you penis sucking sharks fans, your going to see how good your team really is when you get swept in the first round.

Ott got the **** kicked outta him by Thornton and Shelley. San Jose tough enough for Anahiem?

Another Dallas *****.Ott.WTF was that announcer talking about?Ott was hurt. When and where.I think Ott may be psychic. He knew if he fought Shelly he would get hurt.

Ott's an idiot and JS was simply doing what we got him for. Not a fight but rather a spanking for bad behaviour.
Regardless of how you may feel about Shelley, and he has had a bit of an off year, he's played well for us in more ways than scraps. A welcome addition and I sure hope that we keep him next year. Probably not
PS: I wish that there was a way to monitor how some fools vote. I'm obviously a Sharks fan but if it was close I would have called it so. I see the bias all of the time after noting where a poster comes from. This fight a "draw" or "win" for Ott?!! That's crazy. Try objectivity for once!!

Steve Ott...........What a typical Dallas little BITCH!!!!

C'mon Ott. If you are going to pretend to be a tough guy, you've gotta drop 'em with tough guys. Ott gets no points for running away.
