Clear win for Laraque, but at least Cote made this one respectable. Dude can take a punch.

Has Cote ever won a fight? He is such a pansy! He even tried to pump himself up before and he still couldn't beat Laraque! The Flyers are like little school boys trying to take on their older brother. They just have less talent and strength. Playing dirty gets you nowhere Flyers. Respect that!

Hard to tell what landed, but BGL through around Cote like a polar bear that got ahold of a little rag doll.

BGL gets a draw here. Last time Cote beat him. Cote gives away a good bit of weight and height to BGL. BGL is NOT the heavyweight champ!!! There are plenty others I'd much rather have...

Tough scrap. Edge Laraque. Cote is gonna be a monster. I wanna see him take on Boogey or Simon. Minnesota Monsters.

BGL with the clear win here. He landed the only real punches. If Cote had taken off his helmet before the fight that one punch would've put him in the hospital. After that Cote wanted no more of BGL and took him down.

Cote looked like he was guna fight Boogaard in the begging, trying to stay away, hes only an inch or 2 shorter then BGL but he really does have quite a reach deficite lol

Good scrap with not much landing.

I get the impression these two guys really like each other.

Riley is definitely the recipe for getting Georges to open up.

Hope to see them go again in a few days.

p.s. the refereeing was atrocious last night.

Missing the Gonchar cheapshot which was a 4 minute penalty at least, and then turning around and giving the pens a 5 on 3 for a textbook 2 sided scrum was... well... atrocious.

54 seconds of ice time for Cote. How embarrassing. There's no reason this hack should be on the ice. Good thing he had his helmet on or he'd still be lying there. I loved that he didn't know what to do with the puck.
Cote clearly started the spin.

RC has been part of a memorable year... KO uppercut by Parros (that has to be the highlight of the year) and the helmet blasted off his head last night

too bad gl has an extra arms length reach on riley, an extra 40 lbs, and is throwing punches from mt mckinley (a tall perch for those who don't know the mountain). however, there was one punch that stung big george and forced him to slow the tempo (out of fear of having HIS head knocked off).

at the risk of sounding too defensive in cote's favor, i will admit he should be able to run with the dogs if he chooses to get off the porch. give him 3-5 years and he'll be 10xs better than bgl.
