Not much but Laraque get it for more punches thrown.Would have liked a KO but oh well.

Surprising showing by Cote, Big George actually wanted to throw, alot closer than I would have predicted. Alot of big shots but didn't look like many landed clean for either. Slight edge maybe to Laraque but closer to a draw.

Saw a flash of whie flying through the skylast night. At first i thought it was something from orbit, or something from the great beyond. Then after a closer look, it was a flyer hockey helmit. Pens in five.

too bad gl has an extra arms length reach on riley, an extra 40 lbs, and is throwing punches from mt mckinley (a tall perch for those who don't know the mountain). however, there was one punch that stung big george and forced him to slow the tempo (out of fear of having HIS head knocked off).

at the risk of sounding too defensive in cote's favor, i will admit he should be able to run with the dogs if he chooses to get off the porch. give him 3-5 years and he'll be 10xs better than bgl.

Cote will go with anyone in the NHL. I've never seen someone as far out of their weight-class as him do what he does. As for pure technique, he is one of the best. Just imagine what he would do to someone the same size as him.

I love the shots of Cote zoning-out in the warm ups. I'm telling you, next year Riley's going to be earning the big bucks for this stuff. At the rate he must be juicing, I predict he'll be bigger than a Boogart by next year. Dam, he was little more than an average middle weight just a few months ago.

I haven't seen Laraque lose yet. But I haven't seen a draw with Cote until now. Laraque landed glancing shots only. Cote landed a couple insignificant ones, too, but he kept Laraque from doing his standard opponent spinning tactic to try and get guys off balance. They spun a bit but there was no leverage for Laraque which is where he usually does his damage.

I hope that this shuts up all the jagovs that say that all BGL does is hug. Cote at least has the balls to give him a good scrap. Philly losers since 75!

No domination on either side ... could be round 1 matchup??

I really hate when Laraque does this. This was such a pointless fight, even Cote knew it. The timing was stupid. Laraque went to the faceoff and asked if he wanted to go. it is so cheesy. These guys are sopposed to fight after something like the cheap shot gonchar gave hartnell, not 1:30 min into the game for no reason. With that being said. Another great job by cote to stick in with the big guys but laraque landed 1 0r 2 better punches.

BGL loves the spin-o-rama. If he doesnt hit you he at least gets you dizzy enough to fall down. The size difference is huge. Cote will fight anyone. BGL wins in a decision.

My favorite part of this whole fight was the start, when the puck hit Cote's stick and he thought about skating with it.

Great fight though, big punches thrown by Laraque.

Laraque and the Pengos are a bunch of punks. Crosby will never be Ovechkin because he's too much of girl and the Pengos let him. They're a disgrace to hockey
