Win for Boogaard in a no contest match up. Not much to say other than that Boogaard only landed one punch before Cowan was able to escape the big man's grasp. Cowan should be happy he didn't end up with a broken face.

COWAN DID THE JOB AND AVOIDED AN ASS KICKING AND GOT THE TAKE DOWN, BOOGAARD DIDN'T REALLY GET A SHOT IN. WIN TO COWEN.

Hahaha! The look on Cowards,,,err Cowans, face in the game replay was great. His eyes rolled back into his head after Boogaard thumped his skull.

Cowan turtled after a solid uppercut. mikebflorida - once again you show without a doubt exactly how dumb you really are. That wasn't a knockdown, he twisted and threw him down. But what the hell does anyone from Florida about a game on ice. About as much as you do - Jack Sh*t.

why drop the gloves if you are afraid to throw punches. When the other guy answers the bell, but won't fight, it is called domination - phyisical and mental.

It's time the NHL either bans fighting or ebraces it. This way we can elimenate mismatches likes this. In the "New NHL" guys like Boogaard dont belong. If you want to let the goon style prevail let's do it right and get rid of the instigator rule and let the goons back into the game that can take care of this non skating fool.

You can tell once Cowan dropped the gloves he ducked his head down and hide like a little girl. Boogaard gets the win landing 3-4 solid rights.

Boogaard could of killed him if he wanted to.
