mikebflorida hmmmm ya know what, what you said was so stupid and im not even gonna insult ya, your own comment speaks that for me, and any1 else who says cowan won this look at the .22 mark! cowan gets hit then turtles ( which i dont blame him at all)...then a big swing and a miss by boogs and they both go down. Boogs a win against a middleweight who wanted this scrap.

You can tell that Boggey isn't taking the fight all that serious, look how long it took him to drop the gloves. I'm pretty sure he felt bad for Cowan, having to step up for his bitch-ass teamates. Had Boogey wanted to, he could have really hurt Cowan, but I don't think he wants to be known as the guys who ends peoples careers (having realized what he's capable of at the expense of his current teamate last year). He did his job, and did cowan a favor.

And no, it was not a hit that Cowan needed to stand up for. Boogey never even touched the guy.

Man, I just saw cowans eye last night. I think boogey got him with a good one. Clear win for Boogey, but you have to give it to cowan for sticking up for a teammate.

Cowan is horrible in the scrap department. First of all, that wasn't a hit that needed someone jumping in about. Second, does Cowan ever win? Third, didn't Cowan learn his lesson when he and Avery were in LA together? Three guys went after Avery, Cowan stepped in the mix and grabbed Fedoruk and ended up getting socked like a little beeeyotch.

I wish Boogaard would have tried to hold him up on his feet to really give him an ass kicking though.

Win to Boogaard. Why is another middleweight trying to take on the boogeyman?

Man, Cowan's got heart but he really needs to give up on the fighting

Cowan lives. Funny thing about Boogey, you can't even brawl up close with him (unless your BGL or a masochist) because he'll round house those rights. He is also not fighting at 100%. Still give Cowen credit for surviving it and dodging that same right that put Boogey's teammate Fridge's face in kiln last season. The best actual hit was Boogey's open ice check that lead up to it. Refs didn't call it. Looks like a shoulder from the Boog. Lots were expecting dirt. Didn't happen this time.

Boogy wins another nice to see him so active, poor Jeff Cowan good effort but only the top guys in the NHL should be droppin them with Boogaard. The Canucks really need to get a true Heavyweight if they want to play the in the West.

Not a great fight by any means, but Boogaard avoids a major embarrassment. Can't rip too much on Cowan for showing up.

Cowan with the win, he really tagged Boogs and he stunned him with that jab. Boogs looked very timid and he fought like the pusssy he and his homer Wild fans are.
