LaPuke finally won a fight. Amazing. Has Cowan ever been in a fight in his life?

I call draw.....but I also dont think ive ever seen Cowan win a tussle. Cowan and Stortini should go to Boogey mans fight school this summer...

Mack Seaton:

Note this is a TSN broadcast, therefore it is not the Colorado home announcers.

I was watching Colorado's home feed at the time, and the home announcer for the Avs wasn't as generous.

However, Lappy did hand it to Cowan here.

Broken hand?
Started well and then went Euro.

Cowan landed way more early. This is clearly a Cowan win. (for a change)

Cowan early with a couple that didn't look to land, Lappy late with a better flurry of punches. Edge Lappy

Slight Win For Lappy For The So-Called "Beatdown."
Posted by ROCK HAWK on Mar 27, 2008 at 3:54 PM agree disagree
hahaha..WOW. Not sure whos worse , Cowan or that announcer ..Laperriere puts a "beatdown"on him ?? huh?? lol
I think Cowan beat himself down pretty much. Yeah, Lappy was throwing..but what punch put Cowan down ?? He hit him in the shoulder pad.. The guy is laughable and needs to quit ,like bam932 said.
Laperriere made to look good here by a horrible fighter -I gave the W to Laperriere even though Cowan landed better. Umm..is that possible?
OK..a couple ppl say Laperierre leaned on him at the end..I dont really see it like that. Looks like he just finally started throwing and Cowan just crumbles...weak weak stuff. Granted Cowan took the lead but when you go down and give up when the other guy throws its kinda hard to win.

If you believe the announcer, it's a win for Ian, if you are not a homer moron, it's a draw. Cowan 1st half, Ian 2nd half. Ok fight. DRAW

Have to give the win to Laperriere because Cowan turtled at the end.
