Good, intense fight. Simon got in the better punches.

Good fight. Vandermeer is always a gamer even though he's not as big as some of the guys he scraps with, but it looks as though Simon was just too powerful for him.

The best part about this fight may have been the fact that the both of them just completely ignored the ref. Or maybe the ref was just reminding them to wait until the puck is dropped. Either way, the whole sequence looks funny.

I see one moron on here says Vandy cant skate, cant fight and cant score. CBJACKET is who im talking about. First of all, hes a defensemen, so he shouldnt be scoring alot of goals. He actually is a great skater also. As for fighting, hes a really tough guy. But he falls in that line where if he fights a middleweight, he'll destroy them. If he fights a heavyweight, then they'll beat him. Hes only 6'1. Hes not that big of a guy. But he fights everyone and does well. Good try from Vandy here but clear win for simon. Look out for the Wild Gentlemen, they got some brawlers.

What's with all of the references to Simon's troubles? I'm sure that you've lived exemplary lives! Kudos to Simon for the struggle and still a superb fighter after so many years.
A nice win for CS

Simon punched him apart. Not even close.

Minnesota retard fans need to get a grip. This is clear draw as far as punches go. Tough guy Simon doesn't deliver the win and Vandemeer wins by being so eager to show up and hanging in.

Easy win for Simon. Not close. Hoping for an Anaheim - Minnesota playoff round.

Simon wins. Landed more and harder. I think Vandy wasn't expecting Simon to be that tough after all the BS he's been involved in.

Did Vanvermeer forget that Simon is a southpaw? A lot of commetns here about how great it is that the wild have so many solomon grumbies in their lineup.....this will be pointed at as a factor explaining why they either didn't make the playoffs, or were swept in the 1st round.
