Commentator said it best - 'Oh my!'

Simon going southpaw certainly worked with this bout. Very lopsided, but very entertaining. A lot of hard shots and a definitive ending.

Punk Simon gave Vandy a beat down. Good fight!

Simon wins, but man do I miss Vandermeer as a Hawk!!! Always liked his toughness but he rarely dropped the gloves.

Lets see, Vandermeer can't skate, can't score and can't fight. How many teams have you been on just this year? Enjoy being in the big league while you are here.

If Vandy didn't throw a couple of punches early it would have been domination by Simon. Good offense by both at the start. Win Simon.

How can anyone vote for Vandesmear? He was totally dominated by Simon. He threw punches cause he was punch drunk. Must be the flamers voting for Jimmie.

I love how Vandermeer had his hands to the side like he's Rocky Balboa taunting Simon. Than Simon just Cloobered him with a lurry of lefts.

Simon with some big shots that took a little while to take effect on Vandermeer but once they did he tumbled like my dryer on Sunday

You may not like Simon's history but he stepped up to the challenge by Vandermeer and took care of business. Clear win to Simon

The camera angle from Minnesotas local tv was better. Simon connected with every left hook and knocked the other guy down with one at the end. This fight was good because there was a rather weak fight just moments before this one.

They both stood up and took their punches. Nice solid fight. Both of them landed some great, right in the face, punches. I think Simon takes it, but just by a really thin hair.
