They lost balance and didn't get it going. Draw.

it appears Godard slipped but somehow that translates to a win by 49% of the people who voted on this fight? i like both Boogy and Godard but YOU HAVE TO LAND AT LEAST ONE PUNCH TO WIN A FIGHT!

I guess I can understand a draw but Derek jersey punched Godard a few times and he went down. Oh well, my vote is for the Boogeyman.

goddard couldnt handle the shove of the boogey man,but you have to give him credit for standing in against this behemoth.

I don't get it. How can Boogaard win a fight when he doesn't hit the other guy. He shook him, and Godard fell. Pul-eeease. That isn't a knock down. These Minnesotans are nuts. Then some guy has the nerve to write that "Boogey is there to set the tone for clean play and cheap shots will have consequences", when the fight started because your St. Boogey took a run at Phaneuf (and entirely missed).

Draw in an OK fight. A matchup between these two can produce better.

Boogaard wins- but not a good fight.

Not much of a tilt, but I'm gonna give it to Boogey just because I know all of the Boogey haters are gonna come out and vote for Godard. If no one else is going to have an objective opinion, why should I. Win Boggeyman!

On a side note, I do like Godard a lot and I was really looking forward to this match up. Too bad nothing else came of it, but I'm sure there will be some sparks if they meet again in the playoffs.

Anyone voting for a winner in this one is an obvious homer, you should be ashamed of yourself.

What a downer....this had so much potential with the nice clean start.....the refs should have lined them up again!
