Unfortunately I haven't been following baby-Roy's minor-league career so I don't know if he has reasonable NHL potential, but I would love to see him try that on an NHL goalie who has shown they will fight (ie Ray Emery, Dan Cloutier). I have a feeling Pops wouldn't have been so insistant on having his son go down the ice then.
