Easily a Clarkson win. Avery is a joke. And to the morons saying that Clarkson should have won more convincingly you need to watch it again. Clarkson was landing shot after shot, and Avery had absolutely no answer.

The strangest girl punches I have ever seen by Clarkson but I gave him the win. Anyone else see these strange punches?

I hate Avery but he held his own. Nice long scrap but neither guy inflicted pain on the other. However, it was entertaining.

Edge Clarkson. That said, if you are the #1 fighter for your team, you should be fighting the #1 fighter of your opponent. I penalize Clarkson 1 man-card for fighting Avery instead of Orr.

im sorry, did the analyst say "avery couldnt say no"? why not? hes done it many times before. just ask jarkko ruutu.

anyway, avery didnt even land one. clarkson got tired and bored. he may not have landed huge hits but he won the fight very convincingly. cat and mouse from start to finish. on the other hand, a heavyweight shouldve handled an agitator with alot less work.

im gonna say what i scream everytime i go to MSG... avery is a bitch.

Thank you David Clarkson. I hate Sean Avery, worst of all he always seems to squirm his way out of things and some how defends fairly well in fights. This is the best piece of him I've seen anyone get and was pumped to see Clarkson wave off the lines men and then power in a few more shorts.

The announcer seemed to think few were landing but judging by the way Avery's head was snapping I think they were connecting pretty well.

DRAW...no doubt about it.

I'll bet all Devils fans were happy he fought with Avery since he isn't a great fighter or wished he had fought with a guy like Hollweg for the same reason. Too bad Orr wasn't out there or he'd be dropped worse then Cam Janssen.

Avery the ***** actually fought for once. Thing is, Clarkson kicked his ass.
Clear Win Clarkson

Being a Ranger fan, I love the energy and tenacity Avery brings for the team. He will fight when necessary and holds his own. Sometimes he wins, sometimes he loses. this is one that he lost. Clarkson used his reach and size to his advantage to get the win. For someone who is supposed to be good fighter and Avery is supposedly a punk, he should have won by a larger margin.

This reminds of me a high school fight where half of one side will say he won because thats his boy and the other side will say the exact same thing. a slight edge to clarkson and you cant blame him for rapping avery up. I mean he did a good job of picking his punches and not getting hit. if being smart and fighting with some strategy is being a bitch then a lot of good fighters are guilty of that. Although it got pretty boring towards the middle. I could go draw or clarkson but this was no big deal.

geez not much happening here but i give the edge to Clarkson if nothing else because he looked like he wanted to connect . Avery wanted to duck under the hold so he was further away and thus couldnt hit or be hit . he does it twice so im thinking he didnt really want to be in it anyways . almost a draw but i cant excuse Averys actions .
