I don't like giving victories to the guys wearing the panty shields but well hockey is hockey and tantrums to flair. Boulton was defintely caught off gaurd here and didn't land much. I this were in open ice the outcome may have been different. Even though Boulton didn't look to keen on fighting this time out he spent quite a bit of time yapping about the shield Slav was wearing while they were in the penalty box. Boulton was caught off guard because he didn't expect a shielded player to drop'em. Next time these two hit open ice on the same shift, I will be watching.

Boulton never threw a punch....Mezel kept his face shield.....what a waste of time. I think Boulton is going to revisit this guy again, someday, down the road...

Mezei wins, but so what? Boulton could have mailed his part in.

Boulton's a goon???? Coming from a Belak fan? You are kidding me. I refuse to vote for a visor guy. Period. The Puss is the guy cross checking wioth the visor on!

you're voting is supposed to take into account only the actual fight. if you wanna cry about faceshields and such, fine, but who you can't DQ a guy because he's wearing a visor and so the other guy didn't throw any. Boulton dropped the gloves so he knew what he was getting into. Mezei won this fight when it comes to actual punches thrown and that's what really counts. Of course, it was a bit cheap because he had the visor on, but he still won. You fools need to wisen up.

The referees are idiots and should have let them fight. Hopefully one of the referees will get knocked out the next time they get involved....

Any votes for Mezei are silly. This fight simply never got going and Mezei is wearing a face shield.

If there was a choice for No Contest, I'd pick that but draw is definitely appropriate. nothing damging landed and Boulton falls down. Big deal, I don't give wins to Euro punks throwing wild swings while wearing a visor. Screw that guy and anyone like him.

Boulton got schooled. A goon against a non-fighter and wittle Ewic cwies his eyes out about the visor. Don't go after star players like Jokinen if you don't want retaliation. Suck it up and go back to the east coast league where you could keep up with some of the players on the ice.
