Not close, malone trying to defend Sykora, should have let
him fight for himself,Sykora might have put up a better fight.
Stop with the Gooning it up comments, your fighting for a playoff
spot and getting smoked on national TV,you better show some fight
and hit people. With or without BGL around,Cote would have hit him
anyway. And I'm a NYR fan and not a homer or riding Cotes rod which
I am sure the Pusbags here will accuse me of.

now thats the real Penquins without Laraque in the lineup. Turtle.. and I think Malone had to change his shorts after this one. Cote with the domination!

So Ryan Malone gets 7% of the vote here, and Cote got only 10% for the Thornton fight.

That's cute.

Battleaxe, we were only down 2-0 in the first. So we werent getting our A**es handed to us yet. THat was a clean hit first of. Its funny all of the pens fans saying "Wait till BGL comes back". Sorry guys he would of been playing in this game if he didnt thrown a dirty elbow at someone. Cote isnt scared of laraque anyway. He already showed that. THe BOMB, I would do the same thing if i were down 7-1. Its called the team is frustrated. So if it were "Goon tactics" we would be swinging our sticks at peoples heads. Eat crap all you flyer haters. Its funny, i went to the pittsburgh philly gameint philly. I was booin and talkin **** to all of you pens fans, but you guys talk alot on here but not in real person

Cheap shot by Cote... Malone stuck up but really is not a scrapper and didn't appear to me to fight at all in this one. Definitely Cote would not have done that with Laraque in the lineup. Very cowardly... Justice was served when Cote foolishly stood motionless on goals 6 (Sykora) and 7 (Gill) - he looks like a fish out of water when he has to play hockey. I see no reason for him to be on the ice...

Win Cote. Now Cote is fighting 25 goal scorers and middleweights? P*ssy!! Flyersfannie4life sounds like a typical fatass Flyer fan. Looking for fights in the stands? Grow-up you inbred retard. Gee, why do people hate Fylers fans? Duhhhh? Me Like Miley, Me like Boulerice. Me fighters the best!! Yes... I think its too funny all the MANCRUSHES these loser Flyer fans have on Cote. Cote is the best fighter at getting punched in the face! He is the most willing maybe after Carcillo and Boll.

If Malone was killed or carried off on a stretcher Flyer haters will still give malone the win. Cote scores the crunching hit ( hey flyer haters it was legal too), the uppercut(s) and take down. Malone is clearly out matched here but he sticks up for a weaker teamate (Sykora), who eventually let his skills reek revenge on the Flyers later in the game. BGL will be back b4 the end of the season to mingle with the Flyers again. Many think the Flyers won't throw these hits with BGL out there. Think again. The thing is they will chance taking on BGL with big hits and Cote will probably want to challenge BGL again despite losing the first bout. That's what makes this rivalry great. Unfortunately for the flyers, they are depleted and do not appear to be much of a threat as they were earlier this season (when they were all getting suspended). If they make the Playoffs they will likely have to face the Pens in the first round.

im surprised you idiots gave Cote the win for this one.
and of course you get the "oo Cote is a coward because he fought Malone, if Lasuck was on the ice he would of ran away from him."

bull****.
we have seen Cote take on Lasuck this year, Cote wouldnt run away from kicking someones ass.
and if Lasuck wasnt such an idiot he'd be playing but insted he isnt.

FIGHTING AND HITTING IS OKAY AS LONG AS THE FLYERS DONT DO IT, DIDNT NBC TALK ABOUT MALONE TAKING BOXING LESSONS ON ON OF THE NATIONAL GAMES, WONDER WHY THEY TALKED ABOUT THAT
