Riley Cote vs Shawn Thornton

Two guys the same size, the same heart, the same willingness to just throw. Good even scrap. They have had two of the best this year.

Cote is looking like the truth out there. He's letting people know that he is the next generation of fighters. Lucic and Cote are a couple guys that will be really good for years too come.

Cote the best fighter in the NHL??? hahahahahahahahahhahaaha are you serious? hahahahahahaha oh man that was my laugh for the year thank you very much. Thornton gets the win in this one, but it was close. I will say that Cote is the gutsiest fighter, but not the best. hahahahaha oh that kills me.

Philly fighters needs to get the nhl package or something, cote isn't even the best fighter on the two teams that were playing let alone the league.

Screw all of you Cote haters out there. This is why is the NHL's fighter of the year. He fights everyone regardless of size and always puts on a great show. I don't think this fight was as good as the one these two guys had earlier in the year but top 5 fights in the league this year. I DON"T think Cote is the BEST fighter in the league, all I am saying is that he is the best fighter this year based upon his fight card and the show he provides every time out.

Thornton wins. Each time they had a flurry of exchanges Thornton landed the better blows. But what a tilt! Both guys gave that everything and both enhanced their reputations.

Bit dissapointed with Thornton trying to end the fight with a wrestled take-down. Also, i really enjoyed the sportsmanship at the end. God bless the NHL.

Great fight, I feel that Thornton landed more than Cote. I give a slight edge to Thornton.

Another great toe to toe bout between Cote and Thornton. Thornton seemed to outland Cote as most of Cote's punches went over the head of Thornton. Good scrap.
