These announcers are ridiculous. if you just listened to them and didnt watch it would sound like thornton dominated but he only got in maybe one connection the entire fight. brash landed way more punches. he also won last time through also these announcers are crackpots

Brashear dominates ... again. Big up to Thornton for rumbling him again after he took a pounding the week before

Can we please have Dale Arnold and Gordy Kluzak back?

Brash sure threw a lot more but Thornton landed his. Thornton MIGHT have a bruise on his left shoulder. I can't give this to Brash.

DAMN!! Brashear is an animal! there were some heavy ass punches thrown in that bout.

Slight edge to Thornton for his good start. Turned slow as the grabbies ensued. Thornton has picked it up a notch after a disappointing beginning of the season in his bouts (possibly due to injuries).
Couldn't agree more with the other review, that was some stupid play by the Caps at the end of the game. They had the 'W' locked up and then got completely undisciplined. Brashear is a goon, and just a dumb hockey player. Is he really worth the idiocy of blowing a game they had won? As a physical prescence, I guess Washington thinks so.

I hate Brashear's fighting style,he just immediately goes for the grab....very irritating! But great job by Thornton by holding his own against a bigger opponent.

Does thorns even have that right ear left after this. That's what you get for hugging. Part of me wants to root for thorns because he is a particpant in the fight of the year with Riley Cote. In that fight they both just let go and rock em sockem til there faces were razed to the ground. Here, he finds a tougher opponet with a chip on his shoulder from their previous bout and it appears he wants little from Brash. So it's all hugging and possible hearing loss for thorns and a clear victory for the mighty veteran Brashear. Would have loved to hear what the yappin' was about.

BRASHEARS 6 PIMS COST THE CAPS A GAME YET IF PEOPLE HAD THE BALLS TO BE HONEST THEY HAVE TO ADMIT HOCKEYS WEAKEST PART IS THE OFFICIATING, HOCKEY IS A MONOR LEAGUE SPORT THAT IS NEVER GOING TO MAKE IT UNLESS THEY MAKE OFFICIALS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE HORRIBLE JOB THEY DO, YEAH THEY DO SUCK AND SO DOES BETTMAN, HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MUCH THE GAME HAS CHANGED JUST SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR

Brashear with an edge...Shawn doing to much holding to protect himself...Brashear with the better shots throughout the latter part of the fight

Brashear does a great job eliminating his team from the playoff picture with a 6 minute penalty later in this tilt. Thornton did a great job against this former Flyer goon. Nice scrap ...

I think Brash saw Mcsorley's ghost in the third and got spooked.
