Georges Laraque vs Wade Belak

Belak wins. He landed more punches and did his damndest to make a fight of it. Big George seemed to quit halfway through.

Laraque sucks. He is a huggybear takedown P*ssy, or a spinarama queen when he is getting hit.

This one is another of those fights where you might give to BGL for controlling it. Throwing more landers but Belak has some fight stealing rights pop up throughout making this into a draw. Very few can get that helmet off. Laraques back swing that threw Belak off balance seems like an afterthought and made him look like the winner but since the Panthers got more riled up about this to score seconds later I'm going to go with the draw on this. Good long fight. Don't get me wrong Belak threw alot here to but most hit air. Still I wouldn't want to get hit by those shots

Belak wins this one despite the fact that Laraque wrestles him to the ground. Belak wins because he landed more shots. He landed at least 2 big punches. I didn't see Laraque land 1 punch in this fight. When's the last time you saw Laraque lose a fight? Belak is the man!

Face reality, BGL is the guy all of you want on your home town hockey team. Yes he dances, yes he wrestles but at the end he rarely loses a bout and many times that left paw using some ones face as a punching bag is the result. Can some of these other stiffs go toe to toe with him yes but he creates the "Fear Factor" for all of those jaws waiting to be hit with one of his lefts. The slap nut from Winnipeg must be dating the sheep again (they have rear view mirrors in Winnipeg I've been there) is of course another BGL hater for no good reason. If you had a f'n team in that tundra for 9 months of the year you'd kill to have BGL on it. Wake up and look in the rear view mirror ay?

laraque is such a bitch...as big ans strong as he is he cannot take a shot...the first sign he may get hit he goes into hug/wrestle mode...

belak nailed him and he tried all he could to wrestle him down...

Give it to Belak by virtue of punches landed. As usual George is gentleman and doesn't blast Wade when he was down and in perfect range.

I dont know how Belak is winning in votes. As far as i see the fight was close to a draw, but if i was gonna pick a winner, it would be Laraque. The hits were even, but laraque got the takedown, Belak definetly wouldnt get the win.
