Georges Laraque vs Wade Belak

Good for a Laraque fight.. I guess.

Belak hung in there and stood his ground. He controlled the fight and was busier than Laraque. Belak fought like he had something to prove and Laraque just fought.

This is a clear draw - I'm not sure which fight some people are watching.

Belak was throwing them but i doubt Laraque broke a sweat

the whole "top fighter" title they give to laraque is bull**** the guy swings people around i wanna see a fair fight once in a while this fight was weak belak was willing to go straight up, but laraque did what he does best... btw thats not fighting...

Draw. I didn't see either guy land enough to win. Nice job by Belak when he had the jersey over his head, he could have got worked but was able to throw them.

Nice tilt. Some bombs thrown with a few landing. Belak had a nice showing for himself against the top dawg. I guess when you look like Belak does you'd better be able to scrap!

Belak had the quantity and quality of blows on his side. Laraque held his ground, but could get no offense going. Belak wins.

Surprised how well Belak does in this fight to earn a draw. Never been very impressed by Wade's fighting skills, but he put up a good one here.

I give a very slight edge to Belak.
Why do fighters like BGL and Brash only throw when they have a CLEAR advantage? When they can bully the other guy around, they throw 'em, but when they're not dominating the fight, it becomes a wrestling match. Are they afraid to take a punch? Is that really what a legit heavy is about? IMHO, guys like DJ King & Cote (who doesn't win them all, but isn't afraid to throw down with anyone) are the LEGIT fighters in the league.
