My God some of you are really stupid people. 7 minute power play or satisfy the rubes. Hmmmm. "Eager's a b*tch, f*cking p*ssy..." Are you really serious?! He just put his team at a serious advantage, five of which is major penalty time. Unlimited scoring. Not that the Hawks did anything about it, but point being, Eager dropping the gloves would've been about the dumbest thing he could do. Nice going Eager for some head's-up, smart hockey. He's not turtling because he's a pus, hes doing it for his team. Part of playing smart hockey is knowing when to drop the gloves and when not to drop them. Some of these people have no concept of that. Win goes to the Stache. Game to the Hawks.

ROFL to you that are giving this to Parros....IT WASN"T A FIGHT! It was eager letting Parros give the Blackhawks a major advantage....and that is called smart. Win to Eager for outsmarting the dumbass Parros.

I'm a Flyer hater so Eager being an exflyer is on my hit list. Having said that I dont see how anybody can fault Eager. He was attacked and didnt have a chance to do anything. Parros went crazy. I dont know what led up to this but this was bizarre.

parros went after eager because eager and other hawks were running at pronger (just back from a jaw contusion) all game. eager should have dropped his gloves and answered the bell since he is supposed to be a tough guy. the fact that he didn't and covered up instead speaks volumes. it reminds me of that gutless puke dale purinton.

i'm not a fan of parros as a fighter, but in this case, i understand where he's coming from.

so for those wondering about eager's misconduct - it was given to him because he's playing in a MEN'S league and well....it would appear he isn't.

Parros took exception to Eagers check on Pronger, who is wearing the full shield. If that was Eagers plan to get under the Ducks skin by doing that..im all for it. As for not dropping the gloves mikemcmo..Parros really gave him no shot to- takes a run at him and then jumps him. Honestly im not too sure he would have been too "Eager" to take him on anyways. But regardless it was still a gutless, idiotic move by Parros not to give him a chance to. That was 7 mins of p.p. that the hawks needed..even though they didnt score , that killed some time when they had a lead. And, a misconduct on Eager???? for what ?!!
Sadly, the Hawks have no enforcer really. And every point counts right now . So...thank you porn star for helping out.
No fight =Draw

NOTE TO GEORGE S CLAM:
Sir, if you are truely a Hawks fan (and i dont believe you are, we arent that dumb) then you should know Eager did what was needed in this situation. Im fairly sure the 7:00 power play is a huge reason the Hawks won this game..i watched it. And if Parros actually gave him a shot to fight him i might feel a little different - but he got jumped. Turtle in a fair fight IS shamefull...but this wasnt the case. And looking at the WHOLE scenario of it..Eager did his job much better then Parros. So, if you want to give you're opinion here, thats great...but please dont try to pass yourself off as a Hawks fan...we know better

George Parros is my hero. I love seeing that from an enforcer, actual enforcing. Stache gets the buttman package but well worth it in my eyes.

The sound bytes were great. Stache is yelling Mother Focker at Eager as he's trying to beat on him.

Huge slops to the linesmen who got between George and Eager. Eager deserves a beating. he's supposed to be a tough guy in this league and turtles like Claude Lemieux? For shame.

What has happened to Ben Eager? He used to drop his gloves with no problem & didn't look that bad at all in MOST of his fights.

"Bruins0506"- I like your "Losing His Balls" comment... Whoever finds them, I wonder how much they can get for them on ebay. I mean, his balls weren't very big to begin with, but at least they were working & knew their purpose.

This fight proves that even Ivy League schools in the US are a joke. Parros must be the stupidest player in sports.

Wow Eager turtling??? LOL what a surprize! What a waste of skin Eager is, no wonder the Flyers dumped him. I see eagers family signed on to vote for little Benny in the voters booth here.
