great fight for eager--the victor--eager showed what a complete and utter GOON parros is. parros hadnt won a fight in the last month, is a terrible skater and hockey player, and if he doesnt fight he's in the minors. the stupid stacheman is a joke and is a "winner" only because the other guy doesnt fight back. enjoy your cup, anaheim, it is your one and only, ever. admire your goon squad of parros, travis(trash)moen, and todd(should have been banned from hockey for life)bertuzzi. nice collection of trash, anaheim--ducks s--k.

Parros wasn't having any of Eagers ****. He let him know. and for the record even if Eager did drop em' Parros woulda rocked him.

Looks like George even gave Eager a sec to decide before he worked him. Another puss showing by Eager..............pitiful. Win to the stache.

no-i'm not smoking crack (which would explain the votes for each fighter). eager was doing what he thought was needed (or what he was instructed to do???? hmmmmm) and parros was doing his job. the hit immediatley before parros's was intended, as was george's, to take the head off eager for his jabs at pronger. say what you want about pronger's questionble hit from behind but going after a guy with a broken jaw (very recently, too) deserves this exact response. too bad the refs stopped the beating before GP got in some really good shots.....

This wasn't a fight. It was someone getting jumped. Is Parros from the Hood or what? When did the rink become a back alley?

If you go try and start **** with the Captain of the other team, particularly when he is wearing a full shield, you have to be ready to drop the gloves - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE CONSIDERED THE TEAM'S ENFORCER. Ben Eager's eggs are still scrambled from the Gary Roberts scrap that got his sorry ass shipped out of Philly and if he is too afraid to drop the mitts then he has absolutely no reason to be on the team.

As a Hawks fan I am glad they won but Eager hanging the code in an attempt to draw a power play is not acceptable when the only reason your sorry ass is out on the ice is to fight. Goddamned shameful conduct on the part of Ben Eager and I won't be unhappy if Shelley or Murray rearranges his face in the next game and gives him another nice long ride on the pine.

never thought id see that from parros. whenever someone else did that, you guys called them a biitch for hitting a defenseless player. boo parros, no respect.

F*ck Parros, cheap play: the Ducks motto

Alright I disagree and I'm obviously a minority, but I think Parros was the bitch here. He didn't give Eager a chance to fight him, so how can you say he didn't want to fight? Parros was literally on top of him. You have to give the guy a chance to take off his gloves (or even drop his stick for that matter). Good team play by Eager to help his team win. Although I have no idea what the misconduct was for. And for the record, I hate both of them.

Now i see why parros went after eager. Good job for Parros. Cant blame parros for doing what he did. Yes, he did jump him but eager should know that when parros first hit him, that he wanted to go. Eager could of dumped the mitts and stick if he really wanted to. But also a good job for giving his team the Penalty time. I just think for the Code of enforcers, i feel if you challenge someone who cant fight because hes hurt(pronger), then you give the teams enforcer a chance to stick up for him, and show some class and drop them and give it a go. It kinda reminds me of what avery did to jarko ruutu like a month ago. Dont skate up like your going to do something and then not drop them. I think its a Puss move. Only a few heavys have class, parros is one of them. He would of squared off with eager and given eager a chance to drop them, but he knew eager wasnt going to. So he had to do his job and send a message.

Parros did what he had to. Eager gave Pronger a slight chop to the chin for the hit he had just made. The game was already chippy before that and BGP just exploded from the bench to attack him. That was passionate hockey the way it should be played. I'm tired of these premeditated fights off the faceoffs and all this code bull****. Look, when Tiger Williams would get you to the ice he still was trying to beat the crap out of ya.

Btw, Bertuzzi did have a fight before the Eager thing after a scrum near the net. I forget who it was but by the time the camera got there Todd was the only one throwing. Bertuzzi did leave the ice because of a cut to his face.

Parros brings the hammer down on former FLYER Eager. Eager has been a cheap shot artist in the tradition of his former team. Parros had enough and pulled out a can of "whop-ass". Eager will be golfing with his Flyer buddies come playoff time ... Chicago v. Flyer golf tourny.
