George Parros vs Ben Eager

what a little turtling baby Eager is, once he came to Chicago both of his balls were nowhere to be seen.

Wow! I don't know which guy involved has the least class. Pronger checks a guy in the back while wearing the face protection and clearly not a potential combatant. That's pretty cheap. Eager pops Pronger in the face in responce, even though Pronger has a broken jaw. That's pretty low, but Pronger was asking for it. Then, Parros jumps Eager from behind, pretty cheap there too. Finally, Eager turtles, also cheap even if it is smart and he was at the end of his shift. I've got to say that Eager was the least pathetic player involved. I rate it a draw because it wasn't really a fight.

All of you Parros lovers check Dennis Savards comments regarding instructions he has given Ben Eager not to fight because he is way to valuable to the team to sit in the penalty box

Some of you are just morons. Eager had time to drop the gloves but he didnt.

People compain that he just came back form injury, well Pronger came back from injury but Eager didnt have a problem hitting him and putting the stick high to his face.
Thats the way to enforce a team, way to go Parros

eager drew the penalty and walks away without a scratch on his face. give credit to parros for stickin up for his team but eager still did his job, and his team got the win

Not much of a 'fight' when one guy never even gets his gloves off. "Porn-stache" Parros is a clown. He didn't want to chance getting embarrassed so he jumped Eager. Real class. I haven't been too impressed with Eager either, but if you are a real tough-guy, then at least let him drop the gear. Pronger is an idiot too, if you're man enough to throw the cheap hits, then be man enough to accept the consequences (even with a broken jaw) and/or stand up for yourself.

I was at the game and saw why Eager got the misconduct. Eager got the misconduct for not obeying the ref. Parros had headed to the lockerroom and a ref had Eager by the Hawks bench when Wiz and O'Donnell started going at it. Eager left the bench area and skated back towards the fight. The ref was yelling at him and tried to pull on his jersey to tell him to go back. He ignored the ref and kept going. He stayed behind everybody, never made contact with anybody and just watched, but refused to go back until the fight was done.
