Brash is a beast, win for the beast.

Good tilt kudos to Shawn Thornton for taking on the much bigger Brashear and shame on Brash for ducking out on the chara fight with an early takedown and then fighting the much smaller Thornton later in the night.

I'm with "kocurfan26," Thornton earns himself a slight win imo & for sure earns a Draw at least. The t2t action at the beginning was ALL Thornton, Brash's punches were & did NOTHING there. Brash did a nice job switching to his right & did land a couple of solid shots. But after watching several times real speed & slo-mo Thorton's right did land & yes that was Big Don taking a knee. (LOL, open-ice tackle, taking a knee... Sounds like Brash is in the wrong sport.)

P.S.-I think people sometimes wait for the "Brash Beatdown Flurry" & then give him the win once it happens without paying much attention to anything else. In this case u must pay close attention & your view might change... Just my 2 cents, though.

Close fight..no draw. Brash wins. Landed more = W.
Must either be lots of Bruin fans or Brash haters or both..
Even though Thornton landed the best punch, and ill give more points for putting Brash on a knee, Brash landed about 5 or 6 more decent ones. Judge the fight fair. Some of you on here scoring it a draw because Thornton can take a punch or stand tough against a bigger guy - funny and SAD !
I just asked 5 ppl i work with to judge the fight (3 are boxing fans) none of them with any bias whatsoever. Had them watch it twice..all 5 said the guy in the red won the fight.

Ok, this is one of the best fights of the year and also one of the most controversial because the voting on it is so skewed.

If you go to the community boards, you can find a clip of the slow mo for this fight and clearly see which punches land, which punches hit helmet and who knocks who down. Don't take my word for it, watch the slow mo.

This fight is a classic draw. Both fighters landed punches and both fell at the same time. Brashear does NOT win this fight at all, if anything, more of a case can be made for Thornton as he knocks Donnie down and certainly has a size disadvantage, and lands the better punches. rash has a good chin and takes those punches well. When he switches hands, it throws Thornton off balance and Donnie lands a couple to the back of the head. Big deal.

The problem here is the homers and fans of Brashear will vote him the win despite him clearly NOT winning. I am as objective as they come and try to vote these fights honestly and there is no clear winner here. Remember, this isn't boxing boys and girls, it's a spontaneous hockey fight where edges and points are not scored but rather, wins, losses, and most of the time, draws.

Win goes to Brash...
