Parros has the reach advantage but did nothing with it.

Closer than it looked, Parros fell down to avoid the last right but looked to be on the short end of this. The right has been Vandy's strong hand all career, but here he makes the best of his reach disavantage with jersey jabs, Parros only had one good right in here. Once again it looks like he's falling asleep in these fights. Some fans have noticed Vandy has not fought much during his time in Philly, despite having fought 8 times this year with 3 teams. With all the shenanigans in Philly this year, he didn't have to. Oddly enough, Parros had his best fight of the year against the flyers' Rockem Sockem Riley Cote. I don't know what has happened to him this year with all the losses piling up.

good fight, vandermeer gets the win, Parros gets clocked at the end there.

Wow..... I've been a Vandermeer fan for a long time, and I even though I despise the Flamers with every inch of my body, I gotta give Vandermeer the win. Having said that, Parros is a disgrace to the true "heavyweights" of this league...he is getting beat routinely by everyone in that category and I wouldn't be surprised if the emerging Stortini could take Parros down now. Move over Parros..... Stortini is gonna be the new long-haired/bearded fan favorite heavyweight in the coming years!

George's worst fight this year. Kept waiting for a rematch, but never came.
Vandermeer was an excellent pick up.

George got smoked. Pound for pound there is no better fighter then Vandermeerr. He can duck punches and switch hands effrotlessly. He has a jack hammer for a left hand. He did not fight much his last stint at Philly because of his reputation, nobody wants to dance with him.

Parros losses again

I'm not sure what's up with parros.. he almost seems disinterested in alot of his recent fights.. not to mention, he's sucked even more than usual on the ice as well.. I'd bench his ass and stick him on a balance beam with this American galdiator balls flying at him for a few hours a day.

win vandeemer. this is why vandeemer is in the nhl not for his defensemen skills. he should fight more but doesnt.

Not much of a fight, nothing really landed. I expected more from these two experienced fighters. Win slightly to Jimmy V

Wow, now all of a sudden Vandermeer is great again.
I love all these comments form idiots who don't have the ballss to post in any of the the forums...Give it a rest.

Parros tripped on the net, it has nothing to do with homerism.
Even though he is not the most consistent fighter, Parros is one of the most popular on this site and one of the most active in the league. He has had some great fights this year, give him some credit.

No knockdown, an edge for Jim.
