Who the **** would take time to take their visor off when someone grabs you with THEIR VISOR ON?! You people need to take the cacks out of your eyes!

Win fisher. More punches thrown and landed. I don't consider fisher getting punched in the visor as a punch landed.

Call me "Old-fashioned", but I think if two guys agree to "go", when they drop the gloves, the helmets (with visors attached) definitely need to go. Watch some of the other leagues where guys get paid considerably less, and they automatically discard the helmets when the "bell rings". I hope when the NHL have their annual "Rules" review, this is visited AND implemented.

Ban fighting NO! Ban fighting with helmets and/or visors, you bet! Or let's mandate full-face cages for everyone and level the playing field...

Yes I know there was a Panty shiel..err visor brawl here but first let's look at the start of it. Why are the refs not calling these ridiculous holds. It went on the whole game and had shown up on several other games this evening. Shean Donovan is practically bearhugging Downie b4 the obligatory elbow is thrown into donovan's Jaw which is what set this bout into motion. Looks like Clutch and grab hockey is back and both these teams better watch some Devil tapes from 1990-2004 if they want to learn that trap game again.
The punchstats defintely favored Fisher here despite Downie scoring the reverse on the takedown. Fisher appeared to have been cut possibly from a shaved downie right at 34 seconds that pressed the edge of his shield into fishers face. Hit them hard enough and those visors can damage their wearers. Kind of anti cimatic to note that in his victory.

The sens and their fans have waited all year for something to happen and it was Downie that wound up instigating it. Then when the visors are washed the Flyers score on the very next shift. I expected this whole sight to give Downie the biz for losing this but alas he still got votes. Even flyers fans gave fisher the win. Yet there are still votes for Downie?
Anyway, I hate to say it but take my advice, Clutch and Grab.

Fisher the win. You can't complain about visors since neither had a chance to take theirs off, Downie's just came off when the fight started (because you know he wouldn't take it off if he had the chance anyway). My favorite part is seeing Cote run around like he actually has a pair, he just symbolizes this entire Flyers team: He runs around taking cheap shots and when the time comes to answer for those cheap shots, the refs will bail him out.

Well, Sir yohans. THe visor usually will give a cut, But not a bruise. Also i dont think the visor cuts the guys face without getting punched. Averys face is open when he acts up? Have you ever seen on youtube AVERY LIKE A TURTLE. He balled up like a little girl when hordichuk went after him. So dont tell me he doesnt hide. Know your stuff before you talk clown. I will admit though that Downie should chuck the lid more often.

What is it with all canadian fans calling people homos, they must like offending their national pasttime, downey lost so what Flyers won the game 3-0-1 against the mighty Weenators, where was Mcgrats must still have the shoulder problem or is it a ball problem, anyway guess Murray still sucks as a coach

Win Fisher. I don't know why people are even talking about visors in this fight. They both started with them on. Let it go. Fisher won in a pretty good fight. No massive punches thrown or landed, but Fisher wins easily over the smaller Downie.

It's always a great fight when a Flyer gets his butt kicked (as usual). 8th place Flyers will be golfing with their fans come playoff. time. Nice job by Fisher pulling a can of "Whop-ass" out on a cheap shot Flyer. The hockey world awaits the Flyer 100th year anniversary of Bobby Clark's Stanley Cup.

Let's GO DEVILS!

Remember when Downie took off his own helmet. Oh yeah he didn't, Fisher took it off for him and then beat him down. Have any of you Philly fans watched a hockey fight before? The object is to take the other guys helmet off and then knock his head off with your fists. The only punches downie got in were when he was laying on his back. weird Downie throwing punches after the linesmen have a hold of the other guy. Clear win by a non fighter. Way to hold on for dear life Downie . Just in case anyone thinks I am favouring someone, I could care less about either of these guys, I am a wings fan.
