Love this kid! How can you not love this kid? 19? He has been told not to fight by the Bruins right now, because of his nose being broken three times this season. But still fights, and gives Ruutu a beating. Love it

Lucic dominated this fight, Ruutu did nothing in this one. I am Bruins fan, and you are right about the announcer. He sucks. I do however like Brickley`s color commentary. Jack`s got to go.

Enough with the excuses for Ruutu about being smaller than Lucic, he wanted the fight, and he took a beating.

you cannot physically hurt Ruutu, you can only hurt his feelings. Lucic did not want any part of Laraque earlier in the game.

Ruutu is a complete finnish puke. Looch has a broken beek and declined big George earlier(it'll happen) and had to spend a minute and a half rag dollin this punk. If he was 100% this would have been EMT time for RuPaul. I just hope this nose won't turn Lucic into Koci. The kid has the skills to play a regular shift which is more than I can say for most tough guys. Go B's!

Lucic has a busted nose and the bruins have asked him not to fight if unnecessary until he fully heals. He clearly was not looking to fight last night. He didnt "duck" BGL. He just did not fight him. He also wouldnt have fought Ruutu if he had a choice. Ruutu hit him 2 times then grabbed him. . To everyone who chirps Lucic about not taking on BGL. Give him a little time. Hes not trying to be the champ. Give him some credit, at 19 years old hes earned some respect. 12 fights and it would be more if not for the nose. and He does fight heavyweights and holds his own. Give him a chance to mature a little and im sure he will be taking on the BGL and Brash's eventually

Rutuu doesn't get much credit here. While Lucic got a lot of shots in here, few were landed on Rutuu's face, and when they were, granted they were good shots, Rutuu took them and kept going. People say Rutuu just wanted to grapple from getting clocked. Obviously they didn't see him tugging the jersey trying to disconnect the strap and pull Lucic's jersey over his head. Classic hockey fight move. Another point, I'd like to show is that the ref's step in right as Rutuu is about to turn the fight around. While Rutuu might not have won if the ref's hadn't stepped in anyway, he didn't get a good chance to start going. My opinion might seemed biases because I'm a Rutuu fan, but let's give Lucic some credit. He didn't want to scrap at first and dropped the gloves, he mixes body shots with head shots and grappling, and keeps going 'til the "end." I like that style. I just don't like the ref's stepping in early unless it's a total hugfest (obviously not the case here) or someone's on the ice. And please, someone jam a skate down the announcer's throat.

these pecker headed announcers made this more lopsided than it was. ruutu wanted it and lucic went along after awhile. announcers said he's learned to pick his spots. he picked his spot alright , just not when laraque wanted to go. bout goes to lucic but not by much.

Lucic tried to not-fight, it was nearing the end of the game. Lucic wanted to protect his nose (not broken in fight, but crashing into boards). Milan will give Laroque a go soon; he usually doesn't back down and you could see he gave Ruutu the chance to reconsider ... which he didn't take.

Lucic puts on a clinic piling up the points. Ruutu just didn't mount anything offensively.
