Lucic clearly the winner, looked very tired near the end. Ruutu should join the Finnish grappling team, he sure tied up Lucic

People write crap all the way here.
Lucic does not have to prove anything.
He did already. He's not scared of anyone and he fought big names the whole season. He chuckled once, alright. That does not make him a coward, though. Ruutu's a tough customer as well and he got some heavy blows to the head from Lucic here.
Win Milan.

I vote this one for Lucic, but I raise my hat for Ruutu. Jarkko controlled the fight pretty well he had alot more bigger opponent but Ruutu was tactically smart and strong. Altough Lucic did land the big ones mainly because of the size difference and his reach. Ruutu was smart not to go toe to toe.

Good fight I say, win for Lucic but points for Ruutu.

I see all the Lucic fans are voting. Lucic is much bigger and stronger than Ruutu should have killed him. This fight was a draw. The best shot of the fight was by Ruutu to Lucic face. Lucic bailed out with that one and the linesman even broke it up at that point. Apparently Lucic was hurt. The body shots to Ruutu did not even slow him down. You guys should watch the fight instead of listening to a homer announcer. BGL asked him to go ealier in the game and he ran away. To be the big guy you have to fight the best, not the middlewieghts.

Lucic is fighting with a broken nose, at the end of his shift. Jarko Ruutu is the type of player who tries to get under people's skin. I'm glad Lucic got the chance to wallop him a few times.

So no heavy bombs landed by either guy, Lucic definetly landed more since he was the only one throwing, as far as Ruutu landing the only quality punches, they both landed at 1.22 and lucic popped ruutu at 1.30 watch the helmet. And sorry aces50 but snapping some one in the ear with a weak left jab doesnt count as the "The best shot of the fight ..."

Also the mute button works wonders for the homer announcers, unless you guys actually need a play by play to actually figure out what is going on in fight???

The kid can throw, he is going to be a force in the next few years

If Lucic is soo tough why wouldn't he go with BGL when he had the chance. Ruutu did what he had to Lucic was runnning around and throwing big hits on key players, but wouldn't take anyone on.

To me it looked like just as Ruutu began to take over Lucic was tagged hard, ducked his head, and gave up. I call it a forfeit in a fight that Lucic was dominant at the start. If he was tired he should have tried to just wrestle Ruutu down and the fight would have been his.

I honestly thought Ruutu did enough with those late shots to earn a draw. If you mute the announcers and just watch the fight, it wasn't the beating they made it sound like throughout the fight. Ruutu ate some good shots but showed a pretty good chin and great patience to hang in there and pick his spots. I know he's a hated guy and not without reason, but to me you have to respect that kind of performance from Ruutu in what should have been a mismatch.

Ruutu really wanted this fight, and now he probably wishes it never happened. Lucic used his huge strength advantage to prevent Ruutu from throwing any decent punches. Lucic landed several, including a bunch of body blows. Lucic with the decisive win in a 1:45 marathon fight.

Lucic with the obvious win

A good fight, Lucic won that one pretty easy but Ruttu had a couple of good punches in the end. Really like Ruttu, he never backs away from a fight, a good strong European player who can handle himself with the gloves off.

I am Happy

Lucic is going to be the next Neely, he is not just a fighter like BGL and I applaud him saying no to the earlier invite by Laraque(Thornton said no also) because it wasn't the time. I like this kid. good win after a long shift.
