These Boston Homer announcers are friggin hilarious. Wouldn't be hilarious if they called the action in an adult film UUOOOOOOGH A HARD RIGHT OVER THE TOP! UUOOOOGH ANOTHER HOOK CONNECTS The Commentating alone is worth the price (free) on this doozy. Ruutu took enough rights to the ribs to leave some old beer and pea soup in the penalty box. Those 2 nasty overhands and one straight right to Rut's face also didn't help much either. Give both props for swingin away here, but LUCIC dominates this one.

That was a great go. Ruutu is the cheapest bastard out there but this year he has been willing to back it up and although he lost this battle, his scrapes this year have been pretty good. Lucic is awsome and I think he would have dropped him with BLG if his nose hadn't been broken earlier this year. He is a guy who may end up being an all-star and a top 10-15 fighter in the NHL.

Ruutu initiated the fight, Lucic controlled it...the kid is good

Lucic tooled Ruutu here. The best part was that Ruutu wanted to go with him. Lucic is one tough customer. I think he was a little gun shy after getting his beak broke. I guess he's back. You picked on the wrong guy Ruutu. Would love to hear the Pittsburg feed (FSN) on this one just to hear Bob Errey and that other moron talk about how Lucic will get worked.

How's this Lucic stud? Ruutu jumps him at the end of his shift and gets his butt kicked. Nice job Lucic, Teddie Green would be proud!
btw, I heard a rumor that the Flyers may play in the AHL next year. Anyone heard that?

lucic with the win. What a good fighter.

Ruutu for some unknown reason really wanted Lucic, probably not so much anymore. Win for Lucic in a marathon bout for more puches with bad intent. That was as hard as I have seen Milan try to take somebodies head off all year.

I'm a Pens homer, but Ruutu got beat. Lucic just out out-thought him and out fought him. A "strategic" fight.

WIn Lucic, but didn't really impress against a smaller opponent. The B's announcers are just awful. They splooge over every punch Lucic threw, even the weak ones.

I watched this one live on TV. Lucic was out on a shift for 1 minute 50 seconds. Typical of the vet Ruutu to go after a guy who's been on the ice for that long. Easy, clear win for the rook.
To battleaxe13 and aces50, Lucic was on the ice for almost 2 minutes before he fought Ruutu for another minute-thirty or so, and he still won the fight. I don't want to hear anything about Lucic bailing out since the fight was so long. Ruutu only started when he saw the linesmen coming in.
And yes, the Boston TV guys, especially the play-by-play guy, are HUGE tools.

Lucic didn't have much of a choice here, he was pretty much forced into this fight.....which he won

That was very very good. Took awhile but anytime Jarckass Ruutu gets his what for makes me a happy Vet. Funny he usually does that to little Euros who he can whoop, but a Canadian different story. Musta thought Lucic was from Europe. Nice long slow whoopin as the openings allowed Lucic to introduce Ruutu to what we use to call a knuckle sandwich.
