You cannot give Ott the win! His punk move of hitting Iginla when he's down only confirms the cheap attitude of the Stars.

I almost didn't recognize Iginla without his visor on! Maybe he has heard all the rumblings about it.

the extra shots werent needed. but this fight had MAJOR legs from the last stars/flames game. Ott and Iginla went at it tooth and nail in that game. This was evident from the fact the fight happened less than one minute into this game. Iginla was no angel in the previous game or this game. So maybe some of the normal fighting "rules" gave way to pure passion. And in the NHL fighting scene these days, I'll take a true pissed-off fight over a strict follow the rules fight.

these guys wanted to go. the details aren't as important as the result...a spirited bout.

Not a big Iginla fan but I give him alot of credit for taking off his helmet since he wears a visor. Tired of all these "fighters" this season fighting with visors on and nothing being done about it!!

Ott is a puss, hitting a guy when he is down like that, ooh tough, Iginla popped up for more DRAW!

Iginla was brutal.......anyone who voted him is likely a Flamer fan

I don't know how any of you people think that Ott won this fight?? He never touched Iginla until they hit the ice and then he hits Iginla 4 or 5 times. That the bad part of it, he should got his head broke by Goodard for that. Iginla won this fight.

Gutless move by Ott to throw punches at Iginla once he's down. I would say while they were still up, Ott was just holding on for dear life and would've got his ass handed to him if Iginla hadn't slipped.

And the people who bash Iginla for fighting Moen with a visor forget that Moen had just as much time as Iginla to remove his helmet, but he didn't so Iginla didn't bother reciprocating.

Personally, pretty much all of you are assholes. Ott is a great player and none of you know what you are talking about. There's a reason they called the previous game these two teams played "The Ott Show"....I can tell you it wasn't because Iginla dominated the game, right? RIGHT! Don't get me wrong, I like Iginla (I wouldn't of spent over 200 bucks on a jersey if I didn't like the guy), but come on.
Anymore, the NHL is made up of cheap shots, cheap hits etc....Iginla himself is guilty....and Ott is on the receiving end of a lot of it too....so the fact that he is just doing what EVERYONE else is the league is doing just shows how classes YOU are for saying that he's classless, cheap etc.

both guys shed their buckets and elbow pads and start throwing. Ott tries to land a left as they close the gap and iginla fires a hard right. Iginla goes down and Ott lands a number off shots.
Too many 'opinions' from some clueless duds out there. People are chirping Ott for hitting Iggie when he's down - the only time you don't is when a guy is down and prone, not when he's still fighting. If a guy is still in the heat of the battle, it's all good. If you stop, you're gonna get caught. You shouldn't even be allowed to review these things unless you've been there before. Last fight Iginla was called a ***** for not taking his visor off - he's the best player in the league and he fights for himself, shut the hell up. Have some respect for the guys who have the stones to actually drop the gloves. Good fight boys.

I don't care what anyone says, Iggy had the shots at the end coming to him for his failure to remove his visor.

CAL fans STFU! Iginla is as much of a douche as anyone in the league.
A lot of history with these two since back in their minor league days in Dallas. Try staying on your skates next time wimpy! Cheap shots were for falling down so easily. WIN = OTT atta boy!

Iginla fell down and he was trying to get up so Ott was trying to keep him from getting up. It was an Okay fight, but I give the win to Ott
I would of rather seen Nolan and Morrow fight for Nolan hit on Jere Lehtinen

Ott is a classless player, when a player goes down you don't feed him shots.
