Dion Phaneuf vs Shane Doan

i dont understand why people think this fight is a 6.3 fight. it wasnt a bad fight but it was defintely nothing above a 4 or a 5 something has happened in the last couple years where if there are a few punches thrown and landed then it was a classic. what happens when a classic comes a long again and its rated the same that may vs barch was.

Doan was more the aggressor in this fight and probably was a bit better than Phaneuf, but call it a draw.

Good to see Doan still has it in him... he proved a lot! Made for one heck of a game... fights on the ice and in the stands!!! Wahoeee!!!

I love that they took off the helmets first. Now that's how you enter into a fight!

Great fight. I call it a draw ... The takedown gives Doan the edge, if I had to call a winner. I think its about time that people stopped harping on Phaneuf for the visor issue, since he is starting to take it off on those occasions where some punk like Ethan Moreau doesn't sucker punch him and start a fight before he has a chance to do so.

Very equal and entertaining fight between two studd players... Can't really call a winner as many have pointed out they both had their moments

Dion definitely got the beginning of the scrap but Doan finished. Very close but I give the nod to Doan.

Phaneuf had about four good connections with Shanes melon, while shane only connected twice. You have to give this too Phaneuf.

Good scrap, love it when to skill guys go at it. I called it a draw. school.

Good scrap. Both landed a few good shots. Every person that watched and posted last night called this a draw. I agree. No winner but it fired up both teams for an intense playoff atmosphere game. Phaneuf got the last laugh scoring two goals including the game winner. Nice to see them both drop the lids so we don't have to read more rants about visors and we can actually talk about the fight....

Great Fight, Slight edge to Doan though.
