Boom Baby! Downey delivered on that one! Teaches Laperriere to touch Nick Lidstrom!

Holy Tornado Taters!
Have not seen 'ol Downey throw like that in a while. Must have been from all the beers at Luke's Bar in Texas. WIN = DOWNEY

Lappy got the beat-down he asked for.

Lappy got beat down and maybe even turtled a bit, but his hit on
Lidstrom looked clean to me.
This rivalry never died, it was just dormant for a while.
Both teams are now fully awake. I hope they meet in the playoffs so Lappy can get a chance to redeem himself a bit.

All Downey all the time! Loved when Downey stood like a rock in the 3rd when Lappy ran him (high, as usual) and landed on the seat of his pants! Would have liked to have seen Babcock KO the demoted Granato, too! Spanky Jazz - learn the game! You have Red Wing envy, my man...

Downey sticking up for Lidstrom, who was knocked out of the game earlier by Laperriere. Easy win for Downey.

Lapperriere got his ass kicked. he deserved it for that cheap hit on Lidstrom. Downey put him on his punkass again early in the 3rd period too. He'll get more the next time these two teams meet.

This was a good fight mainly because it was downey...second of all he was beating the crap outta him after laperriere took out lidstrom

Downey by a mile. This all started because of a dirty hit by Laperriere on Nik Lidstrom who left the game. Downey beat Lapuke down like the dog he is. Later in the game when Downey went after him again he was jumped from behind by Cody McLeod. I thought when the Avs got rid of Claude LePew, Forsberg and Foote, they got got rid of all the backhitters. Guess they got a whole new crop.
