Good showing by Asham - stepping up in weight and competition. He held his own and landed a couple good ones. Neil is tough

reply to nevada....
asham is not a small guy, he and neil are about the same size in fact, neli just happens to be much stronger.

Great fight. Solid shots landed by both. Draw.

What a tilt.

Very hard to score, as Asham just flat out drilled him on numerous occasions, but then Neil took over in the end.

Asham landed better shots but its hard to give a win to someone who ends the fight in the position he did.

Very solid draw. Edges could be argued both ways. I'd imagine more people will vote Asham due to the quality of the punches.

Niel with the win, but Asham is a tough little Devil. Chl37 is a goof. Gunslinger has a man-crush on Neiler.

Good toe to toe exchange here. People might not like Neil but he got the job done. Asham still put up a good fight. Also had the Gordie Howe hat trick; thats nothing to be Ashamed of. Incidentally, there is a natural Gordie howe hat trick which is Goal and assist in even strength and Winning the fight. Asham came close. I believe Lacavalier, Iginla, Nolan and Messier have done it quite a few times and yes, even Eric Lindros.

VERY CLOSE! Slight edge to Neil. Asham was landing more quality shots. All I saw was Asham connecting on every single punch. Neil came on strong at the end with 2 or 3. Perhaps detecting a loss, Neil takes him down. I actually counted the punches. Asham landed 8 punches. Neil only landed about 2 or 3. WATCH! Sucks that the guy that gets the take down wins here, because Asham clearly had the better of the connecting punches.

Neil is just like Domi....cement head....takes shots and doesnt go down. Good scrap for Asham.

Very good shot landed by Asham. Neil landed quite a few goods one himself. Overall a good scrap, with the edge going ever-so-slightly to Neil
