If you're gonna drop the mitts go at it....boulton get's marked down because he wanted to start it but wouldn't get it going...he only got it going when rupp was down on the ice - took a couple cheap shots.
W to Rupp.

Rupp whooped his ass, looks like he could've won that with one arm tied behind his back!....i love how Rupp was calling him out when Boulton kept back peddling like, 'Come on! Come on Michael Boulton, ill teach u a song' (some sweet chin music)

Took awhile, yawn, I'm sure Rupp would have started quicker if he wasn't afraid of tripping over Boulton. Too bad they fell over or they might still be out there. Better than Euros but not much.

rupp with the reach advantage easily wins.

Rupp, never came close to hitting boulton, and Boulton landed three or four at the end of the fight. Also, Rupp was taken to the locker room. If the reverse angle on the fight was much more telling.

Furthurmore the Thrashers scored on the next shift and went on to win the game! So who won? DumbA $$ Devils fans

Two HO MOS that wanted to fight but not get hit. These two guys should play video boxing instead. GAAY fight, end of story.

i've got to give this to Rupp because Boulton showed how much of a ***** he is - he motioned to Rupp to come on and start the fight AFTER Rupp had tried to move in several times and he BACKED away.

and then Boulton couldn't punch Rupp until Rupp had lost his balance and so Boulton decided to wait until he was already down to try to take advantage. what a crappy fighter!

fighting in the NHL will probably be banned because of that pathetic excuse of a hockey fight.

Winner Rupp. Who cares if alot of his punches only hit helmet, he was at least trying. Boulton only came on when Rupp was down and just added to his cheapshot rep. So, he earned his loss here.

P.S.-"Dansal55" I think Rupp is a great fighter. He doesn't get much recognition cause he doesn't get into it that often. But he always handles himself well and shows he has a big KO punch also. That says alot, Compared to fighters that some people on this site call "The Best Heavy," that never KO'd anyone & just fight not to get hit (garbage wins imo.)
...And as for Janssens, Rupp & Clarkson are enough tough even with Asham not being able to go. Try to get a forward who finds the net at times for Janssens. There's plenty of teams crying for a fighter.

Rupp is HUGE!!!! He gets the win here BARELY as Boulton gets a flurry in at the end..... Boulton has been playing good since HE SUCKER PUNCHED 3 SABRES!!!!!! I think every player should try it..........

Disney on Ice. Mickey Mouse vs Goofey here. That was pathetic. Rupp (who's bigger) waving for Boulton to come closer and engage?! Then Boulton either tries to hit the guy in the kidney ..or grab his a$$ , not sure which. Probert and Domi are still shaking their heads at this one.

Plenty of NJ fans on this site if Rupp is voted as a winner in this crap fight. No damage done, no good punches landed = DRAW. A weak punch to the back of the helmet is virtually meaningless.

This is the type of fight the nhl needs to get rid of. Two guys who can't play the game are put on the ice to fight, but meither of them wants to scrap. The refs should have tacked on delay of game penalties to the fighting majors.

WTF? Boulton initiates it, then spends the first two minutes backing out?!? He deserved the beatdown he got...

Rupp looked bored, and he's not a very impressive fighter. Rupp with the clear advantage here.
