Boulton ended up enough well for the draw.
Rupp landed more punches, but didn't get great punches in.
A good jab bu him at the end of the fight.

I am a Devs fan, I scored it a draw because nothing really landed and the fight dragged on with no action for most of it. Bolts seemed most interested once Rupp hit the ice. Rupp knew he couldn't be hit if he kept his arm locked out. I think people criticizing Rupp should remember that his role has evolved into that of an enforcer because Asham just skates around aimlessly in big circles and somehow Sutter can't bring himself to put Janssen in the lineup. I'm not saying Cam is some fighting god, but the team could use his energy and hitting. I still say a Rupp, Janssen, Clarkson line would be a great energy/tough line. Finally saw the Rock on Wednesday night, GREAT ARENA.

A ballerina on ice. Nothing here to be proud of and anyone who rated a win for either skater either picked their favorite or was blind. This fight went 36 second before anyone even threw a punch. It was like one of those "I got you last" touching contests. Nothing really landed all punches to the helmet and to anyone who has ever played hockey they'd know that sometimes those hurt the puncher WAY more than they hurt the guy getting hit. I have to give this a lame fight rating and a draw.
This was so comical, I would have wrote the Devils front office asking for my money back!

I was there last night. It was funnier in person because as they were dancing around for what seemed forever, you could see the linesman yelling at them. I can only imagine what he was saying, "cmon you p###ys, hit each other already". Once they engaged, it was a pretty good scrap with Rupp using his reach advantage to land the better blows. Rupp wound up going into the locker room for assistance--his knuckles were bloody.

When two of the worst fighters in the league square off, this is the kind of fight you get. Boulton is just a joke and Rupp has always been a dissapointment. NJ needs to get Jannsen back into the line up because Rupp doesn't cut it as an enforcer.

Wow. That sucked. Apparently, Rupp sure can throw as long as he isn't expected to connect. Win to Rupp for sheer unstoppable force, but points to Boulton for all those sneaky jersey-jabs and the final flurry. Crap fight anyway.

Dreadful attempt at a fight.

Rupp gets the win, barely but if he could move around instead of just standing there he would have killed him. As far as the comment about Boulton sucker punching 3 Sabres, that's about all he's good at !! He goes after 3 guys he knows don't fight !!! If it wasn't for fighting this joker wouldn't be in the league !!
