Good friend Burrows !

Burrow tries to be a tough guy by fighting non-pugilist Rolston, who hasn't fought in 13 years. But Burrows can't even land anything against old-man Rolston, who takes Burows down quickly. A pathetic attempt. If there was really a reason to fight, Mitchell could have done better. No great showing by Rolston, but he was at least better than the pathetic Burrows.

for Rolston not being a fighter he did damn good!

I am surprised there wasn't a weapon used by Vancouver (i.e. stick to break leg !!) or an attack from behind. Typical Vancouver MO. Burrows was way out of line on this one. I am glad Rolston stood up to him and actually won the fight.

Wow, I'm becoming more and more convinced that hockeyfights is stacked with Wild fans. How did Rolston win that? As much as I like Rolston as a great all round player he didn't win that fight by any stretch of the imagination. He cheapshotted Mitchell with a really dangerous hit, Burrows went after him. Burrows threw the only punches then slipped/fell/takendown. Draw

I respect Burrows heart for coming to the aid of a team mate like that but he clearly took the L here.

Johnnygoodtimes:"Yes Burrows Instigated- where was the call on that? "

underneath the fighters listed it says he received an instigator.

I hate the canucks, and Burrows lost this fight and deserved the instigator, but Mitchell is just coming back from injury (broken vertebrae) and had some question from management or coaches about why he didn't come back sooner, so good on Burrows to step up for this particular teammate. I'd take Burrows on my team any day as he is a pest to play against.
Rolston knew what he was doing when he gave Mitchell an extra shot, all the Wild targeted Mitchell in this game, Burrows was just saying "back off"

What is there alot of minnesota fans on this thing? haha Burrows two solid punches before they both fell to the ice. Its ridiculous that they gave burrows the instigator he was only protecting his player, throw out Rolston for throwing a cheap hit from behind then wining that the other team decided not to put up with it.

Burrows for throwing them quickly. Doesn't Rolston get something for shoving the linesman? How is that any different than Antropov throwing his stick at the refs the other day?

Crappy misconduct. I think this is the type of fight the NHL should promote.

In this quicky it's Ralston by a small margin. He got jumped, responded nicely and shouldn't have even gotten a fighting penalty. There should be a 1:00 self defense penalty...hahahah
