Boooring! Good thing I didn't pay for that. Geez. DRAW at best.

Why do Laraque fights always hit the deck early? Laraque gets the win in a very weak fight.

All those people moaning it was a wrestling match...BGL wasn't the one holding in close. Brookbank was. Everyone hates george because he is so good at fighting. Stop making excuses as to why you hate him and be honest, its because he can kick your ass and you know it.

it's amusing that anyone would vote that fight a draw...surely for it to have been a draw brookbank had to have landed some punches? he's didn't even throw any.

Laraque punches like he's knocking on a door. He swings overhand like a woman. At least he threw some punches though. He gets the win, mainly because Brookbank can't skate. Laraque is one boring wrestler. Fighter. Whatever.

Laraque does so class when he fights. I hate him for the hit he put on steve downie and how he showed little class after the game. But i will admit he does show class when he fights. He always gives the other guy a chance to get back up if he slips and he wishes them luck before they go. People can say all they want about laraque, but he is the heavyweight champ. you have to fight him to become a true heavy. Thats respect!

Lousy fight but how can you call a fight a draw when Brookbank didn't throw one punch? Win for BGL but pretty boring stuff. I will say to all the guys trashing Laraque - he can't produce a good fight if the other guy won't stop holding on. At least he was throwing punches in this fight, it was just that Brookbank wanted no part of him.

Brookbank loses his helmet, then watch the headlock takedown. The Bank bounces his exposed forehead off the ice. Not sure how he didn't get cut. When in Carolina I usually don't get lower level seats but there was no blood no cuts and this replay didn't show any cuts either. But that headbutt to the ice would have decided this fight if BGL didn't throw those lefts. Bank is also a grabber but at least somebody threw punches this time.
The "good luck" bit was actually referring to a Laraques last fight this past week when there was a mic eavesdropping on his pre fight conversations.
Incidentally Rod Brindamour emerged from a sandwich check involving BGL with a ripped up ACL. He is done for the year.

BGL won easily. For those haters who say that he just do his rabbit punching has no power, then ask Grimson why he had to retire with a concussion after his last fight with BGL. Grimson was one of the toughest to ever play in the NHL. Laraque then phoned him to apologize for ending his career even though it was his job. Quit hating and give him the respect he had earned. The reason his fight is not as exciting is because it is one sided. not his fault if he is that much tougher. As for the guy who commented on his fight with Tony Twist. laraque was 19 and Twist was the champ then. It was still a close fight. Tell me if you can bring in any 19 yrs old heavy now that can say the same if he goes up against George. Know your info bro.

Big George won again Brookbank really didnt do much thats why he grabbed him and gave him a headlock. no chance for that chump Brookbank case close.

I'm so sick of seeing Laraque fight. He's probably one of the crappiest fighters in the league. All he ever does is try for the take down. It's a boring fighting style. I think he's afraid.
