Uhh, yeah, the announcers are homers. They're the FSN Pittsburgh announcers. You think they're going to pull for the Flyers?

And yes, Steve Downie is a chickensh!t.

I have played hockey. I have watched hockey for 30 years. I have NEVER seen someone do what Downie did at the end of the fight. Dude, just don't fight. There's plenty of players who don't fight. You need to join their ranks. Especially if you're going to play in Philly, a team known for it's tough reputation.

This is a no-brainer. Forfeit = loss

Wow.. this one was basically a draw but I have to give the edge to Ruutu. You can't just skate away from a fight like Downie did, especially if you picked it to begin with. If you were so tired maybe you shouldn't have gotten into a fight with Jarkko. Just fall if you're too tired to continue, it's just a bit more respectable than just skating away

Only comment I can add is that it would have been better if Ruutu had held on with a bit more vigor at the end of the fight. He didn't really run after Downie; they both looked a little tired. One can see Downie ask that the fight not be broken up with about 10 seconds remaining - he must have wanted one more round house then skated.

Downie sits down to pee, he ran away like a little sissy girl. If he didn't he would've got knocked out. He better just stick to fighting ryan stone, Ruutu is out of his league. He is as soft as a roll of downie, the quicker picker upper.

"Holy crap I am in a fight without my visor on, I better get oughta here".....Can anyone from Philly share what Stevie said to the press about running from a fight?

Hey Flyer fans, to quit fighting typically means that you have lost the fight. Downie skated away quicker than Scott Hamilton. Obviously he saw the 3 finger shocker coming and high-tailed his pu$$y a$$ out of there. Broad Street Pu$$ies.

Good fight - Downie slight edge for good punches at end of fight. Downie didn't run the fight was over, Ruutu didn't even have a hold of him any longer.
