Fedor Tyutin vs Steve Downie

Take the visor off if you want to fight you girl and why not pick on the Russia too. Wow of all the people on the ice to pick a fight with Downie chose the easiest victory he could find. Toots is a great player but those gloves should be Velcroed to those hand.

How does a rational person rate this a win for Tyutin or even a draw? This is a site to rate hockey fights not a personality contest or a place to judge someone wearing a visor. Tyutin was willing to go and got destroyed in all aspects of the fight plain and simple - if you think otherwise you are a jackass.

How about if you are wearing a shield you t ake it off before you drop the gloves or you get an additional 2 minutes. Guys who stick up for their team mates shouldn't have to deal with guys with the shields on.

Stop complaining about Downie! You have his twin in Avery! Oh yea, Tyutin wears a visor also, but his flew off when his butt got destroyed. When you are a cheap hitter like Tyutin, you tend to get people pissed at you. That particular hit was actually awesome, but he often hits players late and cheap. No one is crying for him.

payback for hit along the boards. tyutin ain't exactly the fighting type, but i don't really think that maniac downie really cared. win downie, despite the fact that he isn't earning any toughness points for this one.

Downie sure is a bad ass. Goes after a guy who never fights following a clean check while wearing a visor. Philly's love affair with this cheapshotting bi--- is mind-boggling.

Downie dominated him. Not much of a surprise. Too bad he let up when he did. He could have destroyed Tyutin, but chose not to.

win for tyutin, downie had plenty of time to drop the helmet. should be an extra 2 minutes for fighting with a visor. downie is jerk, makes avery look like class act, and that takes some doing.

If Downie went low like that on a Ranger man you Flyer haters would still be yappin about it, I just dont understand all the Flyer hate.

Watch other replays of this fight. What I saw at the game was Downie clobberin Tyutin, then Grabbing the back of Toots Jersey, lifts him up and slams him face first in the ice before they got up and Downie started wailing away again. Wouldn't you love to see him take on Avery. In all Fairness, if Tyutin wants to lowbridge someone he has to expect a beating. Maybe Downie is trying to get on the refs good side because the toots check caused downie's skate to slice up Dipuzzo's schnoz. Perhaps he was avenging the refs. Last year a bunch of Nhl Players voted Avery as the most hated player this year. It appears the fans hate Downie this year. Avery and Richards should have gone at it later but the refs stopped them. Avery compensated by squirting a flyer announcer with a water battle on the player benches.
