Grier do okay against bit better opponent?
McLeod still got the edge, because landed a couple/few of nice uppercuts.
Grier threw back well about middle of the fight.
McLeod took the control in the end.
A decent fight.

Grier, for being a big guy, doesn't impress me at all. McLeod isn't very good either. Draw in a pretty crappy fight.

Gotta love McLeod. He brings a good effort and some toughness every night. Parker must be teaching him how to dance. Way to kid. Keep it up!!!

Cody was being nice and just push Grier away at the end when Grier had his sweater stuck on his head. Guess Grier shouldn't talk so much with a guy who will just drop the gloves and start swinging really fast!!!!

mcleod turned down shelleys offer to fight. i dont see how anybody can not call this one a draw. maybe slight edge mcleod.

If I knew nothing about hockey, I'd be calling Cody a coward for tugging the jersey. Grier was very upset about the nose buster Cody gave Thorton- and what made it worse was Cody did a lap by the bench to talk smack. Grier is not the best fighter in most cases, but he sure put in a good one this time.

Grier drilled Cody pretty hard a few times and stumbled him a bit, I think that Cody was hanging on for dear life until he got the jersey drawn. The reality is, the fight ended in Cody's favor because thats what fights are like in the NHL.

Give Cody points for not drilling Grier when he had the jersey drawn and calling the refs in.

Grier is just a big teddy bear. Is this his first ever fight?

Mcleod started swinging before Grier got his gloves off so I took points away for that :>:>:>

Grier fights like an 8th-grader. WIN = MCLEOD

Grier landed like 5 in a row there. I think he fought a little better even though his jersey got pulled up.

A decent fight, though.

Grier is not much of a fighter, but at least he stood up for a teammate. McLeod showed class by backing off after Grier was defenseless.
