Jan 24, 2008 Pittsburgh Penguins Georges Laraque
1pd 02:19 Philadelphia Flyers Riley Cote
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off at center ice. They grab ahold of each other and Laraque throws a quick left. Cote falls to the ice but Laraque allows him to get back up. They spin around and Laraque starts to connect with numerous lefts, knocking Cote's helmet off and rocking him. Cote throws a left of his own but it comes up short. Laraque continues to land with lefts until Cote throws another left, knocking both off-balance and to the ice.

How did Cote get up at the end with his face still attached?? Easy win for Laraque. Glad to see it wasn't just a 3 sec dance then fall to the ice.

Cote, everyone's favourite punching bag. The guy should quit, he is the new Fedoruk, only Todd was once tough.

Wow, nice to see Laraque hammering away like he did. Cote really received a beating, but deserves credit for staying in there.

What can you say about BGL, At least Cote had the gonads to drop the mits, not like Brash a few nights ago, prooving that he is the bigest PUSS in the NHL. All hale the Champ BGL!

Big Georges dominates again I give Cote credit though he shows up every night and doesnt seem to forget his role like some of the other heavy weights.

Both couldn't stay on their skates. Cote needs to switch left and right so his opponents are prepared for his constant right handed grabs and left handed hits. Too bad they didn't get to square off again since Laraque got a boarding and gm. Was a very dirty hit so suspend away.
